Pet care for dogs fits perfectly into my life and I would love to be with them and give them lots of love and treats if allowed. I’m a certified veterinary technician and currently work at a doggy daycare, where I’ve spent over two years giving dogs lots of love and personalized care. I’m available for drop-ins and walks Monday through Thursday after 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays all day, and Sundays before 12 and after 5. If a pet enjoys being around other animals, my cousin often brings her friendly dog over to keep them company. If the pet prefers being alone, I make sure no other dogs are around during their stay. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all care instructions carefully, giving pets the personalized attention they deserve.

About: My friends and family call me Tom Care-a-lot, Tom the Mom, and The Dog Whisperer. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. I have also worked for GoDog West Nashville and Morris Animal Inn. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me. I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s). I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.

My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind. I do work Monday through Friday from 9-1 which is about 15 minutes away from my house, but my hours are very flexible to where I can be home during the day prices just may vary if your dog needs someone home all day! I have a fenced in yard, I have a pool if your dog is a water lover, lots of treats, I used to have many dogs but as of now I only have a yorkie in the house along with my two younger siblings who grew up with dogs and love dogs and my two parents.
