About: Chances are your pet will love me, or at least be comfortable letting me take care of them! I guess I have a calm demeanor and genuine love for dogs and cats, and a compensation of getting older has been a more patient me. I usually find that persistent persuasion and positive reinforcement gets the job done, and love seeing a pet's expression when a friendly face arrives offering a meal, break outside or just a good chat! Much of my experience has been with rescued dogs with anxiety or social issues, older dogs needing extra TLC, and pups with dietary and allergy issues. I'm an artist working at my home studio in downtown New Hope, so I'd be happy to walk or bike to your place, and can often do a quick drive to Solebury. You can trust me to care for pets at your home because I'm well known in the area as a parent, oil painter and former journalist and am easy going, professional and dependable.

About: I've been taking care of my best friend's and my neighbors' dogs since before I can remember, and have two very happy and healthy cats myself. I can take care of any animal, but cats and dogs are my favorites. I love to take dogs on walks and playing fetch (even on 100+ degree days) because every dog deserves the best treatment. Pet care is 24/7 for me with two cats, but since it's summertime, I'm able to be free any day of the week at any time to take care of pets, and can spend long amounts of time with pets without having to leave them. I will follow any and all rules and set by you, including feeding times, walk requests and more, as all I want is to ensure your pet is safe, happy, and taken care of properly. About: 18 years of hands-on experience with dogs of every age, breed, and personality — shy, wild, anxious, senior, stubborn, prancy and chill. I have walked and boarded dogs in Brooklyn, NY and Asheville, NC. Happy now to call downtown Lambertville my new home — I can hardly wait to walk pups up and down the flowery and scenic D&R tow path. My love for animals runs deep: I've volunteered as a dog walker for the ASPCA and BARC Animal Rescue in NYC, and I volunteered caring for orphaned wild animals at Appalachian Wildlife Rescue in Asheville, NC. I loved my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and I now routinely help care for my brother's farm dogs — a Vizsla puppy and a senior German Shorthaired Pointer. I love having pet care as part of my daily routine. I'm an avid walker, jogger, and hiker, so getting outside with a dog fits naturally into my day rather than around it. I'm currently available all seven days of the week, so I can offer flexible timing that works with your schedule. Safety is my top priority on every walk. I walk one dog at a time, unless they're family members from the same household, so each pup gets my full attention. A harness is preferred for walks, and I ask that dogs wear a collar with ID as a backup. Inside the home, dogs are kept secured with both lead and collar before we head out. Before our first walk, I'll ask for a list of any environmental triggers — skateboards, squirrels, other dogs, and the like — so I know what to watch for and can help your pup feel calm and confident. I'll also ask for a list of known commands so I can reinforce the cues they already know and keep our walks consistent with their routine.

About: Hi there! My name is Kimberly. I’ve spent over a decade house and pet-sitting for several established (and new!) clients, from New York City to rural Pennsylvania. Over that time, I’ve worked with dogs and cats young and old, social and skittish. I prioritize establishing trust with any animal I encounter first and foremost. While living in Brooklyn, I worked with a particularly anxious dog who had missed out on opportunities to socialize as a puppy due to COVID, and I helped her to acclimate to city life and build trust with other people and dogs, all the while nurturing our relationship to ensure her sense of safety. I also volunteered nearly every day walking dogs at my local shelter. Usually, I hadn’t met the dog beforehand and had to gain his or her trust and size up his or her personality in a matter of minutes, but those are some of the greatest connections I've made. Over the last couple years I’ve worked with therapy dogs as a lead teacher for a multiple disabilities support classroom, fostering relationships between my students and our visiting dog friends. These days, I’m in the process of joining the Bucks County SPCA as a volunteer, and looking to establish relationships with new animals, families, and clients. I hope you’ll be one of them! I am currently working remotely and running my own schedule, so I have the flexibility to hang with your pups and kitties whenever you need :) Because my roommate is severely allergic to animals, I unfortunately cannot host pets at my apartment. However, I almost prefer it that way, as furry friends are usually most comfortable in their own environments. I’ll look after them just as you would, making sure they keep to their regular routine to avoid stress and feel plenty of love in your absence.

About: My very first job was caring for my neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. I was just 10 years old, and I'm so grateful they trusted me with their pets. That experience not only taught me responsibility but also sparked a lifelong passion for pet sitting. I've always been a dog lover and grew up with two dogs in my home at all times. Over the years, I've cared for breeds including Akitas, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, and Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. One of my proudest accomplishments has been training my own dogs, Kona and Remy, starting when they were just 10 weeks old. That experience strengthened our bond and taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're in good hands. I’m currently working part time so my schedule is flexible. About: What can I say... dogs make the world a better place! Your fur baby deserves lots of love and attention. I've loved dogs since I was a kid. As an adult I've had the pleasure of bonding with and caring for a number of breeds varying in ages and sizes over the years: from shy teacups to oversized mushes. Since 2023, I decided to make more time for sharing my love and playfulness through dog sitting, dog walking, play dates and even doing dog portraits! With my flexible schedule as a freelancer, I enjoy making time for play dates, snuggles and most meal times with your sweet fur baby throughout the week.
