About: I have been caring for dogs ever since I was a little girl. My family always had labs and I can remember my first best friend, Clare. Clare was a yellow lab and we got her when I was 6. Growing up learning the responsibilities of pet care allowed me to grow into a career, now that I am older, that has me surrounded by dogs every day! I've managed a boarding/daycare kennel for the last 2 years and now I manage a Dog Park/Restaurant in Sarasota. I have a Golden Retriever, Maddie, and I love being her mom. She gets me up early and keeps me on a routine. Routine is super important for dogs, as they learn the human world, because at the end of the day- they just want to be dogs! I am confident I could keep any dog happy and on a consistent routine! I currently live in a beautiful house in Laurel Park. I take my dog on a lot of walks and adventures around my neighborhood to keep her active! I have experience in dog training and leash handling, so I am always confident she is secure when we go out. At home, I make sure she gets a lot of love and belly rubs! All things I will happily be doing for your baby!

“We've been fortunate to know Barbara for 25 years; she's taken care of all three of our Westies, including grooming, daycare and boarding. She's been with each dog as they progressed through their life--from puppies through adulthood and in even into their older years. Our dogs love going to Barbara's house! One of the things we value about Barbara is she takes photos and videos during their stay, which means all the world to us. She also follows strict feeding and medication (when needed) schedules. Another added value is her huge fenced-in yard for them to play in and a house filled with fun dog toys and games. They stay with her during the day and night so it's just like staying with us at home and not in a kennel. Our dogs also love her dog, Archie, and the other dogs she boards; it's like going to camp for them! We highly recommend Barbara to take the best care in the world of your canine companions.”

“I was nervous the first time I used Rover but from my first meeting with Lindsey she put me at ease. My dog Finn loved her on sight and one of my. 2 cats came right up to her. Finn went to her house to stay for 4 nights and Lindsey came daily to take care of the kitties. She even brought in the mail while we were gone. Ever day she sent pictures and text messages to let us know how they were. By the time we came home Finn had more than made himself at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Lindsey in the future.”
