“Monica stayed at our home with our fur babies (2 dogs and 3 cats) for a few days over the 4th of July this year and she was amazing. She send us lots of updates, photos and videos throughout her stay, and made sure we knew they were all doing well. We were so nervous about leaving our babies over the holiday with all the fireworks, but she handled their medication and let them snuggle with her and ensured they were safe. So grateful for her and will definitely use her again!”

“We’re so happy we found Alyssa on Rover! She took amazing care of our dogs—including a litter of young puppies—and kept us updated throughout her stay, which gave us real peace of mind. All of our dogs warmed up to her quickly, and it’s clear she has a natural way with animals. She was respectful of our home, followed all care instructions perfectly, and even handled an unexpected mishap with calm professionalism. We will absolutely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter!”

“Annie was AMAZING. She stayed at our house while we got married/eloped with immediate family, so not only watched our two dogs but also my inlaws very large siberian husky. Some key notes to explain why we loved her so much: (1) Two days before we left, our 7-month old golden retriever, Mia, ate something bad and had to go to the emergency vet, but Annie rolled with the new medications and instructions easily. (2) When two of our dogs got behind some bushes and cut themselves on pointy screws that we hadn't seen the neighbors stuck through our fence, Annie applied ointment to the two cuts, sent us pictures, put a cone on one of them until she knew he was ok, checked in with us about whether we had any new instructions, and carried something across the yard to put in front of that area. (3) She monitored whether the husky was trying to dig to get to our neighbor's dogs + blocked off his efforts with bricks and rocks. (4) Our dogs LOVED her and we got many pictures of our little basenji curled up in or near her lap. (5) For those who don't know, a basenji is a very unique type of dog that not everyone knows how to babysit. They cannot bark so make "weird" sounds, are extremely intelligent, mischievous/curious, very energetic, and fearless when playing dogs MUCH larger then they are, so they can make people unfamiliar with their energy and the sounds they make nervous because they aren't big dogs. I don't know if Annie knew about basenjis in advance, read about them after we booked her, or just trusted us when we told her about how our basenji plays with the big husky, but she understood it all and seemed to roll with it extremely well. So this is a long review, but felt Annie deserved to have these details put out. In our daughter's words, "Annie is the BEST" and we "want her to watch the dogs EVERY time we're gone." Annie -- thank you so so much for your role in make our elopement weekend so amazing and relaxed ❤️ we will definitely be in touch again!”

“I’m a repeat client and for good reason! Melissa sends updates and pictures everyday! She’s professional and must be a calming presence on my dog. We really appreciate her and would recommend to anyone.”

About: I've been surrounded by cats and dogs my entire life! I have walked dogs from as small as a Miniature Dascshund to german Rottweilers, and love everything in between. I have experience fostering dogs, and training in basic commands like sit, down, and with recall. I have plenty of experience pet-sitting any size of dog. I am currently working part time while applying to graduate programs, so I have plenty of time to fit pet care into my schedule, and can't wait! I come in and check in on the pets, and generally spend a while hanging out with them, petting them and just giving them some company. I make sure that they have food and water, and that there are no hazards for them to hurt themselves on.

About: My name is Vanessa and I am a professional pet sitter. I have loved animals all of my life. I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have a dog roaming around my childhood home. I currently have three family dogs. With my love for animals, I decided to care for them as a living! I began pet sitting for family and friends for fun. Eventually, I began to get referrals and pet sat part-time. I have now been pet sitting for over a decade and run my own business. I have experience caring for a wide range of breeds from Chihuahuas to Labs to Cocker Spaniels. Any time an animal is in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule as my daughter just entered TK, giving me free time for most of the day! I am able to pet sit/dog walk during weekends as well. I treat each animal I care for as if they were my own. I love to take photos to update clients about our time together, whether it be on walks or just checking in :)

About: As a proud dog parent to my 11-year-old Rat Terrier, Milo, I know firsthand the love, attention, and patience our pets deserve—especially as they age. Milo’s been with me since I was stationed in Virginia with the Navy, and he’s traveled right alongside me to Hawaii, San Diego, and now Lancaster. Through all those moves, I’ve learned how to keep pets calm, comfortable, and cared for no matter the environment. From high-energy pups to senior dogs needing a gentler touch, I treat every animal like my own. I have experience with medication, routine maintenance, crate training, and adapting to each pet’s unique personality. I also believe communication is key—so expect plenty of updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. Let me be the trusted sitter who keeps your pet happy and loved while you’re gone. As a Navy recruiter, I work weekdays from 9–6 (sometimes 8), but I’m fully available for early morning, evening, and weekend drop-ins or walks. Since I’m not deployable, I’m always home daily—and with family nearby, your pup’s care will never skip a beat. Reliable, flexible, and ready to walk it out! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. During drop-ins and walks, I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding routines, leash preferences, or any special care needs. I treat your home with the same respect as I do your pet, making sure doors are locked, areas are clean, and everything is just how you left it. You’ll get real-time updates and photos, so you’ll never have to wonder how your fur baby is doing. I aim to make each visit calm, consistent, and full of love—just like you would.

“We cannot recommend Shannon enough! From the moment we met, it was clear she was not only a true animal lover but also someone who takes her responsibility seriously. She stayed in our home while we were away and treated both our dogs and our space with the utmost care and respect. Our pups were clearly so well-loved and happy — we received regular updates and could see how comfortable and content they were. What truly sets Shannon apart is her kindness, attention to detail, and the genuine love she has for animals. She made our time away completely stress-free, and we came home to happy dogs and a spotless house. We trust her hands down, no questions asked, and will absolutely be reaching out for future trips. Thank you for everything!”

Cindy S.
“A humane heart if ever there was one. At the difficult time of having to put her own beloved Buddy down, what did she do? Get a new kitten? Nope, she gave a home to an extremely infirm, full grown cat, that she may have a chance for a loving, quality last bit of her life... and of course, in Cindy's care... that little girl kitty not only is here nearly 2 years later, but thriving!!! Now, let's talk about the dogs! Cindy has cared for two senior dogs who've been together since they were pups... Now in their twilight years, they are still together - with all their senior dog ailments, she's on top of their vet visits & medication and she makes sure as much as THEY are able, they still have the spirit of pups! She's my go-to when I have to refer anyone or get advise for someone.”

Heidi R.
“Heidi has two beautiful American Eskimo family members of her own. I say this because they are truly loved as part of her family. She takes such attentive care of them and has a great sense of what they need and how they are feeling. She is a loving person and dotes on all her friend's and family member's pets as well. She loves to exercise and walk the dogs as part of her "me" time each day. She knows the area dog parks and safe places to walk with her furry friends.
