About: Hi! My name is Victoria, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m a reliable, patient, and caring person who understands that pets are family and deserve to be treated with love and respect. I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy walking regularly, so making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care comes naturally to me. Whether your pup enjoys a leisurely stroll, an energetic walk, or just some extra companionship during the day, I’m committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your pet. I will always communicate clearly, follow your instructions carefully, and treat your dog as if they were my own. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!! I have a flexible schedule and am generally available Monday through Friday. I can accommodate a variety of walking and pet care needs throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am dependable, responsive, and happy to work with pet owners to find times that best fit their schedules. When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I make sure doors and gates are secure and that pets are safely contained before entering or leaving a home to prevent accidental escapes. I also ensure pets have access to fresh, clean water, are fed according to their owner’s instructions, and receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to provide a positive experience for both pets and their owners by creating a safe, loving, and dependable environment.

Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m available most days and can provide flexible care throughout the week. On Mondays, I’m available before 6pm, and weekends for boarding. I love giving pets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve! I treat every client’s home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow all care instructions closely, maintain your pet’s routine, provide plenty of attention and exercise, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment while you’re away.

“Shannon was a delight! My doggies loved her and she worked around their excited behavior. She’s very knowledgeable of dog behavior and it eases my mind and let’s me know her priority will always be on our pets. Will definitely book again!”

About: I’ve volunteered at an animal rescue since I was ten years old. I took care of cats, dogs, birds, and even some livestock. I adore every animal I meet, I even have 2 fur babies of my own and I take pride in making sure they’re happy and healthy. I’m currently working part-time and I am also a part-time student. I’m free most weekends but I am always happy to move around my schedule if needed. I make sure to walk my dog and take her to the park whenever I can. Exercise and social time is something I take very seriously with my animals. I hope you trust that I’ll do the same for you!
About: I have dealt with many different pet personalities and genuinely care about their needs. I aim to give your four-legged friends the attention they deserve. I believe that a dog should have the ability to see what outside looks like, and visit different areas such as parks. I also believe that all pets act a certain way for a reason, and shouldn't be yelled at, or treated badly if they aren't 'easy-going' or 'social'. Personally, my love for pets started when I got my first dog as five years old. Named him Rocky after the boxer, Rocky Balboa. Unfortunately, he passed away two years ago from old age. He was blind, but he still recognized my voice...which was pretty amazing. Rocky showed me that a dog could truly be a man's best friend. I pledge to give the upmost care to your best friend. I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play, walk, and give your pet the love they need while you’re away. I will carefully review your instructions in order to provide the best and safest environment for your pet(s). My services will be provided at a level that gives you and your pet maximum comfort.
About: My love for dogs started when I was just 6 years old when I got my first dog Katie, an Alaskan husky, and it has only grown stronger ever since. From a young age, family friends and neighbors trusted me to care for their beloved pets by walking, feeding, bathing, and giving each one the attention and affection they deserved. I have always treated every dog in my care as if they were my own, and that commitment hasn't changed. Today, I bring that same lifelong passion and hands on experience to every booking. Whether your pup needs a energetic walk, a calm overnight stay, or simply some extra love while you're away, you can count on me to provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I am available for walks Monday through Saturday, with a preference for early morning appointments, though I am flexible to accommodate your schedule. I do not offer walking services on Sundays or major federal holidays. If you have any specific instructions, preferred routes, or behavioral notes about your dogs, I welcome that information to make every walk as smooth as possible. When caring for pets in my client's home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the owner's feeding schedule, walking times, and any specific instructions to ensure the pet experiences little to no disruption while they are away. I make sure fresh water is always available, the space is kept tidy, and that each pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, and affection throughout every visit. For dog walking, I take the time to understand each dog's behavior and energy level before heading out, walking up to two dogs at a time from the same litter to keep every outing safe and enjoyable. No matter the service, I treat every pet with the same patience and love I would give my own.

About: I grew up in a house where my mom was always saving the stray dogs and giving them a loving home. Because of this, I myself have a super strong love for dogs. I have experience with a variety of breeds, including doodles, great Danes, mini schnauzers, dachshunds, German shepherds, and many more. I believe very strongly that dogs deserve the same love and respect as humans. I do work full-time, but I have a hybrid schedule and Im off every other Friday. I am able to work around your schedule and can do drop ins on my lunch as well when I am in office :) I treat dogs with love and respect just as I would do with a human. About: I have worked with animals for over 6+ years and have experience in high energy animals, shy withdrawn animals, bunnies, and cats. I can be slow and paced with senior animals catering to their different needs and run when your animal is ready to play. With your animal in my care I will be its best friend and be there whenever it needs me. I am able to pace and control high energy animals when needed and distract them when things get a little too high energy. With your animal I can walk them in the park, in the local neighborhood, and even take them to the dog park. I will cater to your animals every need, make sure they are well taken care of, and will always put them first.

I can also water your plants or double-check if your AC is off and appliances are unplugged.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
