About: I have owned animals since I was a small child, now grown I have a house full of pets that I call my own. I often pet sit for friends and family. Animals need to feel safe and cared and I will strive to bring those to your home each visit. I have experience across the spectrum of animals and all stages of life from needy pups to the "grumpy" ole men and woman. I also have experience providing oral medications. I'm currently available for pet care services throughout the day. I am available 7 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 10 pm Friday - Sunday. I will not be providing boarding services in my home but I am able to visit your home as much as necessary to take care of your pets, including in home visits. I have 3 kids and a husband who may assist in the visits but will never be the primary care giver to the animals. My kids have taken after me and love helping and meeting new animals. If you would not like the extra help please let me know and I will not bring them.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a love for them. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure each dog gets the attention and care they need. I also have my own dog, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and keep them happy, safe, and well-loved. I care for my own cat and dog daily, so pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I plan my day around feedings, walks, playtime, and training, which makes it easy for me to give other pets consistent attention and care throughout the day. I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, including training. My dog is leash-trained and knows multiple tricks, and my cat is trained as well, so I understand structure, patience, and consistency. I follow all care instructions closely, prioritize safety at all times, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved in their home environment.

About: I feel a strong connection to animals. & really enjoy spending time with them & caring for them. Seeing a pet happy, makes me happy also. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule & would like the opportunity to help some clients on a regular basis if they have the need for a routine. I do believe in keeping pets safe. I don’t allow any pet I am caring for to walk off leash, unless we are in a safe fenced area.

I can walk your dog, and drop by to play with them for a little bit on weekdays or weekends. I can also take care of cats and play with them as well. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets! I am a recent law school graduate. I have a somewhat flexible schedule and I am sure we can work something out for your precious fur babies. I have been around dogs my whole life. I can do whatever you need to provide the best care. I can give medication to dogs or cats if needed. About: I've had dogs my entire life and currently have 5. My last few dogs have been a high needs senior with around the clock care and a heart worm positive high energy dog that I was able to keep calm through treatment for 6 months. From mischievous puppies to wise old souls, I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and temperaments. Throughout these years, I have gained invaluable insights into their unique needs, behaviors, and the unwavering devotion they bring to our lives. 1 / 2 As a dedicated dog care provider, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine. I understand that our furry friends require consistent care, attention, and love to thrive, so I prioritize their well-being in everything I do. On a daily basis, I allocate specific time slots for dog walking, exercise, and playtime. These activities are tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each dog in my care, ensuring they receive the appropriate amount of physical activity and mental stimulation. Whether it's a morning stroll, an afternoon game of fetch, or an evening hike, I make sure to create a balanced routine that keeps their tails wagging and their minds engaged. Feeding schedules are also an essential part of pet care, and I adhere to any specific dietary requirements or restrictions provided by the dog owners. I believe in maintaining a consistent feeding routine to promote good health and digestion for our furry companions. Communication is key in ensuring the pet owners are kept informed and reassured. Throughout the day, I provide regular updates to owners, including photos and messages, to keep them connected with their beloved pets and aware of any special moments or concerns. Beyond daily routines, I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate the unique needs of dog owners. Whether it's providing regular walks during the workweek or offering overnight stays during vacations, I strive to be a reliable and flexible resource for pet owners seeking trusted care for their furry family members. Safety is my top priority, and I understand the importance of a consistent routine for dogs. I will carefully tailor my services to meet the individual needs of your furry companion, whether they thrive on energetic adventures or prefer a gentle stroll through the neighborhood. When you entrust your precious pup to my care, you can be assured that they will be treated as a cherished member of the family. Whether it's a daily walk, overnight stay, or simply providing them with some companionship while you're away, I am dedicated to ensuring their happiness, comfort, and well-being.

About: I have a very flexible schedule right now and most open availability in mornings and early afternoons. I love taking animals to spend time outside, cuddling or wrastling (depending on size, haha), or even grooming them to cut down on the dog hair dust bunnies in the house! I enjoy dogs of all sizes, and have compassion for their different temperaments and what personal accommodations they each need. In fact, I'm dog sitting right now as I write this. This pup is hesitant to go outside in the backyard when his owner isn't home, and therefore will avoid going to the bathroom more regularly unless I take him out on an actual walk. So that's what we do, rather than me insisting that he use the backyard. I understand that a dog's mannerisms and behaviors have to be paid close attention to, and that it's important for their owners to know about little things that have happened or not happened. I've also had experience with administering some forms of medicine to dogs on a few other occasions, and am not opposed to these sorts of tasks. I'm also fairly athletic and enjoying helping energetic dogs get ample amounts of exercise.

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs for years, and I have two of my own—so I get it. I’m super dependable, really patient, and honestly just love being around animals. I care about doing things right and making sure every dog feels safe and happy. Right now I don’t have much going on, so I’m super flexible and can fit pet care in pretty much anytime. I’m taking a class, but I can work that around whatever schedule is needed. I don’t have a fenced yard, just being honest, but my dogs are super friendly and love other dogs. I can crate your dog if needed or keep them separate—we have a whole downstairs area I can stay in with them if that’s more comfortable. I’m also happy to take them on walks as often as needed to make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 470 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Roland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Roland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Roland.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Roland. On Rover:

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
