About: I've cared for animals since I was a preteen, having my own dog since 2013—well versed in all things dog, and I live less than five minutes from the nearest 24-hour emergency vet clinic. My pets are my life! I have a cat (10 lbs, female) and a dog (small terrier, 15 lbs, female) who are both spayed and socialized with other animals. The dog, Chanel, is especially fond of other dogs who are friendly, regardless of size. My cat's name is Ellie, a domestic shorthair, and she mostly stays away when there's another dog over. I have fostered dogs and kittens with local rescue groups as well as Little Rock Animal Village (LRAV). I am also a registered volunteer with LRAV. I'm currently working from home for the most part, other than going to a client meeting sometimes. I have cameras throughout the downstairs, where the animals will stay if I am gone. However, I spend quite a lot of time at home, which places me in a great position to be available to care for my pets and any guests I'm caring for, be it a foster, overnight or a board. I have a fenced-in yard, can go outside with the dogs, and I have a neighborhood that's walkable if that's a needed service. If I'm caring in a client's home, I go by their instructions and do not mind being flexible and keeping lines of communication open. I know pet anxiety, and sometimes we just want a little pic of our babies before bed. :)
About: I grew up with cats. I rescued Hidey a few years ago, a grey kitten who was very shy but is now quite outgoing. I cat-sat through college and am hoping to get back into it. I've had experience with shy cats, lap cats, lazy cats, and cats that get the zoomies and bounce around the room. When I stop by I’ll make sure they have food, water, a clean litter box, and try to play with them or cuddle them if they’re interested. About: I have a very flexible schedule right now and most open availability in mornings and early afternoons. I love taking animals to spend time outside, cuddling or wrastling (depending on size, haha), or even grooming them to cut down on the dog hair dust bunnies in the house! I enjoy dogs of all sizes, and have compassion for their different temperaments and what personal accommodations they each need. In fact, I'm dog sitting right now as I write this. This pup is hesitant to go outside in the backyard when his owner isn't home, and therefore will avoid going to the bathroom more regularly unless I take him out on an actual walk. So that's what we do, rather than me insisting that he use the backyard. I understand that a dog's mannerisms and behaviors have to be paid close attention to, and that it's important for their owners to know about little things that have happened or not happened. I've also had experience with administering some forms of medicine to dogs on a few other occasions, and am not opposed to these sorts of tasks. I'm also fairly athletic and enjoying helping energetic dogs get ample amounts of exercise.

Updated us with how they were doing and if our younger pup got into anything as this was her first time left out of her cage for more than 3 hour at a time. Allison actually showed up on time to every visit and would notify me if she hit traffic or wanted to swing by a couple minutes earlier/later. Allison is very reliable which is my biggest want in a sitter! Will be using Allison for all our future trips.”

My husband and I only work part-time so we will be able to love on them and spend time with your animals throughout the day and night. Gets along with people and other animals she is older but still pretty spunky. Her name is Max. She’s a little terrier mix. I do work overnights, but not for very long only 5 hours . I am home in the mornings afternoons and evening. Except the occasional appointments I have a bit fenced in yard that wraps around the house with a friendly but shy dog named Max. About: Dogs have been part of my household since childhood both as a member of our family and as a responsibility. I am familiar with puppy energy, older dog needs, and the social interaction that your furry fam requires and their individual personalities that require a unique individual approach. Absolutely not a problem. I am able to do check-ins during certain times, or if you just want them to have a bathroom break every few hours or so I’m fine with that. I am alright to do some travel for small to mid/large dogs, if they need some park time, or even if you are looking to have them taken somewhere and can’t swing by home to grab them! Currently have no pets (they had to stay back home with parents 😢) and willing to take a small animal for a weekender stay in my apartment if they have a kennel. In the event that I do I can only take them for a weekend due to apartment style living not being as suitable for a dog. However while they are here, I am able to walk them quite a bit in this area; Heights has great walkability. Most of my care would be for you at your home, walking, sitting, pickup, etc. If they like to grab treats, interact with people, etc. I can find an arrangement either you that works best for your pet. I have friends nearby who have had rescues, elderly pets, and love animals, so they would love to meet and greet and give your animal some love and plenty of attention

Animals need to feel safe and cared and I will strive to bring those to your home each visit.
