About: I don't think I've ever not had a dog! I have taken care of dogs of all ages and backgrounds growing up not only did I dog sit for friends and family, but my family fostered rescue dogs for the mid-atlantic german shorthair pointer rescue. “We appreciated that she spent time with our dogs and kept them company while we were away. It was clear they were being given attention, which meant a lot to us. However, there were a couple of concerns that are important to mention. We have cameras in our home, which she was made aware of in advance. While most were turned off, we left the front door and one camera in the dogs’ area on. At one point, one of our dogs had an accident in that room. The footage showed that it was seen multiple times but not addressed. I only became aware of the situation after receiving several notifications and had to reach out to ask that it be cleaned. This made me feel that it may have been left unattended otherwise. Additionally, we had left our house key in a lockbox on the door. While the key was placed back inside, the combination was not reset. Since we were out of town, this felt like a safety concern, as it left our home more accessible than we were comfortable with. That said, I’m still giving her 4 stars. I know she’s just starting out, and these are all things that can easily be improved with a bit more experience. Overall, we’re grateful for the care she showed our dogs and appreciate her help.”
