About: I have professionally worked with animals as my career for over 20 years. I have owned a dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training facility in Rockville, MD for 17 years. I am a dog business owner and trainer. Prior to that I worked as an animal keeper and trainer for the National Zoo for 4 years. I grew up on a horse farm and currently own 2 horses. I have pet dogs, chickens and fish. I am very experienced in the animal care field. Pet care has been my life for many years. Now, my days are spent caring for and training my own animals. We begin our days around 7am and do bedtime breaks just before 11pm. All dogs that stay with me must be crate trained. I have various sized and styles of crates available. Dogs with stay with me will be taken out at a minimum of every 4 hours during daytime hours. I live on 4.5 rural acres in Rohrersville, MD. I take all dogs out on a collar and long line (up to 50 ft when appropriate) for exercise and allow off leash play when appropriate. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. About: I grew up with big breads and little breads, I have always had a dog. I love being able to run, walk and play with them! Our family dog passed a few years back and I haven’t had the heart yet to adopt a new member into my family, however being able to help others with their fur family, I think would help me with feeling that love again! About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. “Renee was amazing watching our dog for the weekend! You can tell how much she loves dogs and how connected to them she is. She was communicative leading up to the stay and gave a lot of updates and pictures throughout the weekend. It was such a peace of mind knowing our dog was in good care and having a great time in Renee’s care. Highly recommend her!”

“Jennifer went above and beyond in every aspect possible. When you try out a new app like Rover, it can be very scary to entrust your baby with someone. Even once you find someone who seems to click with your puppy, you just help they at least feed them, but thankfully, I hit the jackpot! Jennifer was not just a care giver, she loved my Roxie, and I was a bit surprised my dog was happy to see me since she had such a wonderful time with Jennifer. I was sent several updates daily. “We had a great experience with Nicole taking care of our pug, Memo, for about a week. She was super nice and easy to work with from the start. From the meet and greet, we knew Memo was going to love her. She kept us updated every day on how Memo was doing, and we really like the photos and videos she sent. It really made it a lot easier being away from him. You could tell right away that Memo was comfortable and happy with her and her husband. They treated him like their own and made sure he got plenty of attention and walks. “Nat &Ally are amazing, this is by far the best Rover service that I ever had and I have been using Rovers for more than 3 years. They are very attentive, they do a meeting before the drop off day, they truly want to make sure my furbaby will feel welcome and safe. They asked all the right questions, food, timing, snacks, what is he allowed or not to do and so on. They have a backyard which is great for my chocolate lab to play and they have a playful dog that was perfect for Rocco. We even got a drawing from Rocco, from one of the kids, that made me cry…Happy cry! They are all super sweet. Love their vibe and respect. I recommend them 100%. I would be looking forward to work with them more often.”

“Our dogs, Homer and Bella absolutely lived staying with Charlie and his family. They liked it so much I was worried as to whether they would want to come back home with us. They had a HUGE yard to play in, a number of other great dogs to romp around with, two of which are Charlie’s, the rest were visitors as well. Charlie did a great job keeping us up to date with frequent updates, pictures and videos. Knowing our fur babies were being so well taken care of made our vacation get away so much more enjoyable.
