I’m a recently graduated physician assistant (PA) awaiting my hospital start date so my availability is currently wide open and I’m eager to help care for your beloved pets however I can. “Matt is AMAZING! My two french bulldogs can be a HANDFUL! I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anyone who would want to watch them because my younger frenchie has a tendency to be quite nasty to my older boy & he also has a need to constantly establish dominance with ANYONE who comes to my house, but Matt was up for the challenge! I did not have to worry once the entire weekend! He was in constant communication with me, updating me on their behavior and even sent me pictures. I cleaned my house before leaving for vacation and was worried that when I returned it would be a mess because of the dogs- they act like feral frenchies & will sprint inside with dirt all over their paws and jump on the couch and on my white rugs- they just dgaf-(like most frenchies though, right?) But to my surprise my house was spotless- if Matt was able to watch Loki & Diesel without any problems - then I can assure you- he will have no problem looking after your 4 legged baby/babies! If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you for everything Matt! You are the best!”

About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. I am home from college for summer break and will be available most weeks days in the evenings and some weekends. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.

About: I grew up with two Dachshunds and multiple cats and was responsible for taking care of them! I currently take care of my father’s dog, Rye (he is a Chocolate Lab) as needed and my close friends pets which include 3 cats and two dogs as needed/house sit as needed for her and her husband. I currently work full time, but would be free Monday evenings, anytime on Wednesdays, Friday evenings/overnight and anytime/overnight on weekends! We have a fenced in back yard and have 2 3 year old rescues that are brother and sister. They are Chihuahua pitbull mixes if you can imagine that. I work from home and can walk or care for your dogs around my work schedule and my daughters life! I love them and treat them as if they are my own! I treat others dogs like they are my own. Make sure they get exercise if that’s what is needed, play time, potty breaks, food and water breaks and lots of love and pets!
