“As always, Edward took such great care of my pup. I had been away and he was very excited to see Bailey. It was nice after a lot of upheaval in the past couple months to have a safe, stable place for Bailey.”

“Renata quickly responded to my request for a few hours of daycare for our dog Rosie. It was a last minute request and she was available. We were in Canon City from out of town, had never used Rover, and she was very helpful and friendly. I think things went well except her dog didn't care for ours, I guess. But our dog was taken care of and we really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend Renata.”

“Brooke is the most wonderful dog sitter we could have hoped for. Not only did she take great care of our dog, Puc, but she went above and beyond to send me great updates that included Puc getting snuggles from Brooke which brought me peace of mind because he loves to snuggle! Puc sometimes struggles with anxiety and when we picked him up he was not nervous or strange acting. Completely calm, happy and healthy. He also got along great with Brooke’s dog and she did a great job easing the dogs into being friendly with one another. I Highly recommend Brooke!”

About: Hey there, I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a teenager, about 15 years now! I’m comfortable walking with both large or small dogs and dogs of all attitudes. I want to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of. I am currently working full time and going to school, but I will only accept bookings when I know I can make the time to take care of your pet. This means that I may not offer long term bookings during busy moments so that I can provide the best service. What I can commit to currently is walks and check ins! I will be sure to give you as many updates as needed so that your mind will be at ease :) I understand this is a two way street. I have to put my trust in you, as you need to do for me. I will treat your pet as if they were my own and follow any guidelines given.

About: Currently, only taking overnight guests (boarding in my home) on a case-by-case basis. Please ask. I have a new rescue puppy who is very shy. I have been around pets all my life. I've looked after my own and friends' and family's animals specifically cats and dogs. I will give lots of time, personalized attention, walks and love to your pet while you are away. I offer in-home pet sitting in my home in town, or in your home depending on your location. This personalized and individualized care compared to boarding or kenneling seems to be preferable for happy pets and owners. I'm fully retired and while I enjoy the outdoors -- hiking and walking, camping and fishing, I also have plenty of time to devote to caring for pets whose owners are busy or away. My yard is fully fenced and conveniently located in the town of Westcliffe. If boarding, your pet would be allowed to treat our home like its own. If in your home (within a reasonable distance), scheduled visits will meet your specific requirements such as play time, short walks and feeding schedules.
