About: *Senior dogs only*. Due to the age of my dogs I can only take low energy senior dogs. My fees reflect this. Leave your dog with me for a stress free vacation. I have a hybrid work schedule which allows me to work from home 3days/week offering flexibility in the days. I have a fully fenced yard that offers endless amounts of roaming. As a pet parent of 11 years I understand the stress that can come with leaving your dogs and all their nuances with a stranger. I will listen to all your concerns, and care for your fur babies as my own. I have a lot of experience administering medications. I have a pet stroller on standby. I am extremely knowledgeable of dog behavioural. I work from home 3 days/week offering my choice and can take breaks whenever I need for walks or bathroom breaks. I go to bed around 10pm and wake up when the dogs wake up around 7:30am. Please note that for doggie daycare I am not available for drop off before 8am. You can consider my boarding option and drop off the night before as an alternative :) I live in a one-level, single family home (no stairs) with a huge fully fenced yard. There are no gaps under the fence, and the fence is solid wood (no planks) which helps reduce visibility for reactive dogs. My partners 5.5 year old boy lives with me us part time from Saturday at 7pm until Tuesday at 7am. If your dog is here outside of those days, it is a child free home. He is good with dogs and understands boundaries. Note: I allow two dogs for boarding or daycare from Rover bookings at a time. My price for a puppy is just below double of an adult as they require more of my attention and training limiting the amount of bookings I can take in a day.

About: I grew up on a farm and have had pets my whole life, dogs, cats, fish, birds, farm animals. I love all animals and quickly bond with them. I have always been the pet care person in the household and now retired, empty nester and widowed, my dog and I share a special bond. I have boarded friends and family pets at my home in Broadmead while they have been away on vacation and really enjoyed having another dog in my home. I am focussing on providing boarding for small dogs under 15 pounds to make sure both my dog and the other dog have a great experience together. I will only take one small dog for each day I am available, so if an overnight stay is booked I will not take a doggy day care booking on that day and vice versa. I am a 60 year old fully retired government worker who grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan and have taken care of pets and animals my whole life. I have always had both dogs including shelties, pomeranians and several cats over the years. Currently I have one female Pomeranian dog who loves company. I am able to board one small dog at a time in addition to my own dog. My dog Brandy is super friendly and curious with other dogs and will be happy to have company. She enjoys it when I have other dogs in my home. I take my dog on a daily walk so its easy to take one more small dog along, around my safe neighbourhood in Broadmead. I have a good sized home and yard with lots of room for indoor and outdoor play. Your dog will be allowed to sleep in my bedroom on the floor, same as my dog. If I need to leave the house a brief period during the day, your dog will be placed in a caged area of the kitchen / family room for maximum of 2 hours. The rest of the time they will be with me in the home with my other dog, or in my fenced patio area fully supervised, or on a walk or car ride/walk to a nearby park, on leash at all times. I usually have my dog with me at all times on the couch or chair and playing ball in the hallway or in the fenced patio area of the back yard. I have a safe yard and always supervise the dogs when they are outside. Inside I have lots of space in the house to roam and explore. I’m happy to follow your instructions so your pet feels comfortable and their routines are maintained.

For over 5 years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends, caring for dogs of all ages. We also live very close to a large, dog-friendly park that’s perfect for long walks, playtime, and letting dogs run around to burn off energy. I have a friendly black Labrador who loves the company of other animals and is always ready for a playmate! If your pet requires crate time for rest or routine, I can accommodate that as well. We have plenty of dog toys to keep them entertained and active throughout their stay. Additionally, we live very close to a trusted veterinary clinic for added peace of mind in case of emergencies.
