Possibility of caring for your small dog in my home (fenced yard) as long as your dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, friendly with my little Norman and is fully potty trained. I like to say "Pets are people too!" meaning that they have feelings and deserve all the love they can get. I am now retired so very flexible for daily visits and will update all availability. For House Sitting, we adapt entirely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. This includes their regular feeding schedule, medication administration if needed, and plenty of play and cuddle time. For Drop-In Visits or Walks, we ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh water, potty breaks, and of course, lots of love. We also always make sure your home is secure before we leave and will send you plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun we are having!

About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. About: I love dogs! All dogs... big, small, smelly, playful. I have experience caring for my own dogs as well as other's. Dogs generally love me as well. I learned most of what I know about caring for dogs from The Dog Whisperer. He really knows his stuff! Does your dog need walks and some extra training? I can handle that no problem and really enjoy seeing a dog respond to training and play. I use positive reinforcement while working with dogs. I love walking for fitness and love it even more when I have a pup to join me. While pet sitting, I can also care for plants, etc. I enjoy gardening so if you have a garden and require house/pet sitting, consider me your person! My schedule is very flexible. I’m gentle with touch but firm with my voice, love to train and spoil them, and adore going on walks. I understand how important schedules can be, which is why I like being flexible. I’m very good at making sure that all the necessary tasks are met first when I get into the house, then if I’m allowed to, I usually try and spend a little time with that animal to gain their trust.
