We taught them to stay away from the road when out exploring, come back for dinner at a certain time, and we lock them up in a safe, air conditioned/heated room at night to protect them from any dangerous wildlife! Our property features two fully fenced yards for play and exercise. The first is a secure 6-foot chain link and privacy-fenced potty yard, measuring approximately 20 ft x 60 ft. The second is a spacious, fully fenced double lot with rolling hills and lush grass, providing the perfect environment for your pet to run, play, and explore. *Dogs in our care must be crate trained during down time & at night. When we are not at Dog Shows or Training we are at home with our dogs. My husband works nights which means your pets will be left alone minimally. We have 2 fully fenced in yards. A smaller yard with 6ft privacy fence and a large play yard with 4ft roller panels. We do offer medical boarding on a case by case basis at an additional rate.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was young. When I got older and moved out on my own, I ended up getting cats too. I currently have 2 cats that live with me, one was adopted and one was a stray kitten that I found in a thunderstorm. I’ve worked at a veterinary hospital doing tasks like feeding animals, administering medication, cleaning up after them, bathing them, etc. I have also worked at a couple of dog boarding shops. So, I can handle a lot of animals at once. I’m quick on my feet, especially when animals are getting too rough with one another. This happened a lot at the doggy daycares I worked at. But I know how to break up dog fights without hurting the pups in the process because of my experience there. I have been pet sitting independently for about 5 years, and I prefer it to being in a shop. I can have a closer relationship with the pets I watch this way. I’ve raised my own dogs and cats, so I know how to take care of them. I also know the certain behaviors to look out for, whether an animal is sick or not acting normal in general. I’m very attentive and your animals will be very safe in my hands. My passion is taking care of animals. I do this full time and I love every minute of it. My schedule is always open for your pets! I live on about 7 acres of property. The yard is not fenced, but I can take pups out on a leash. I do have 2 cats with me full-time but they’re very friendly. I also live in a split house, so I could separate them if needed. I’m also very used to going to people’s houses to watch their pets. I work best when there is a written list of what you need done. In the evening, I feed them again, take them out one last time, and help them settle down for the night. About: Hi friends, I’m Lucy! I am a long time animal lover and have grown up around dogs, cats, and farm animals. In the past I was lucky enough to gain experience working with veterinarians in both large animal and small animal practices, and I loved every minute of it. About: I have cared for animals my whole life. I grew up on a small farm taking care of pigs, geese, chickens, steers, goats, cats dogs birds, turtles, hermit crabs, you name it! About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Because of my flexible availability, I am able to spend as much time with your fur baby as you would like me to. Whether it be cuddling, playing, or going outside, I will provide all of my attention and services to the care of your animals.
