“I can't say enough about Karen, from the meet n great through the entire stay. She was very thorough with details and communication. She welcomed my fur baby into her home and loved him like her own. She did an amazing job keeping him in his daily routine. This was the first time he has stayed with anyone other than family and I could not be happier. The daily updates and photos helped me enjoy my vacation knowing he was in great hands! I could tell with the photos that he was really loved and super happy. I look forward to booking more stays and highly recommend her and her family.”

“Nicole and Derek were so great! We were gone for a 2 week trip to Europe. They gave us international updates every day and took care of our favorite furry friend! You can tell the whole family loves dogs and are taking care of animals because it brings them so much joy. Totally recommend!”

About: I’ve had pets all my life and have fostered 30+ puppies and dogs over the years. I have experience in puppy training, high anxiety dogs, shy dogs, active dogs and seniors. I work from home and am home 24/7. We have lots of playtime outside in the backyard especially when the weather is nice. I have lots of toys, a doggy pool and a yard to play in! I have a 5ft fully fenced in yard that allows my dogs to get lots of playtime, including a doggy pool. I am home all day so your pet will not be left alone.
“Ali was great and communicated to us throughout our trip perfectly. She was very flexible, and Piper seemed to have a great time with her and her family! Would love to go back there again next time”

“Brianna was wonderful. She was amazing to Nova and treated her like her own. When we had problems at the airport coming back, Brianna was easy to talk to and made delay home less stressful since we knew our baby was in the best hands.”

“Lisa kept us updated with pictures and messages, and was a wonderful host to our dog. As new dog owners, it was reassuring to have someone who has experience with dogs and a welcoming home.”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Grizzly. He came home happy and tired. We loved receiving all of the updates and photos. We will definitely be reaching out the next time we need a dog sitter!”

“Emily and Sam watched our dog for a week. She’s very energetic so it was awesome that our dogs could play together. They are very responsive and very nice people! We would love to book again with them in the future.”

“Alisha and Nick were very nice and flexible the while time. They sent me pictures of my dog and updates about what they were up to the whole time. I definitely recommend them!”

“This was our first time using Tricia's services. Great communication and she was very accommodating to let us come to the house and check it out before we left our dog there for the weekend. Would definitely use again!”

“Jennifer did a great job with our pup. We enjoyed the photos updates. She doesn’t have a fenced yard but she is not anywhere near a main road and had a nice space for him to go out. She also took him for walks often. Our dog was in good spirits when we picked him up. Would highly recommend using her!”

“So happy we found Mika and Andrew, and we so appreciate the daily updates! That really put us at ease while we were on vacation. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you!”

“Sam was wonderful! My husband and I went out of the country and we have a 3.5 year old dog and a 7 month old puppy. I was really nervous about leaving them with someone other than family members for the first time. Sam made everything so easy and loved my dogs like they were her own. I could not have asked for a better dog sitter, thank you Sam!”

“Our experience with this wonderful family was just that, wonderful! The entire family helped care for Bailey just like she was their own. Lots of snuggles, love & attentive care. Our family had just lost our dear Betsy (our older blue heeler). We had to let her go in January of this year due to illness & age. It was very clear that Bailey was missing her. So when she met some new friends like these great people, she was in heaven. Along with variety of 4 legged friends. We received lots of updates and pics on our vacation and that really put our minds at ease. I don’t think Bailey wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!😁 We feel blessed to have found this family and will definitely be booking again! Thank you ♥️”

“Amazing people!! Julie and Jon are so kind, and took care of our dog for over a week. They treated him as if he was their own, and sent updates so we could see how he was doing. We were so impressed that we booked again before we even finished our vacation! So happy to find a great family that loves and cares for animals, and is so trustworthy!”

“We had a great experience with Nicole & Joshua! Their communication was great and they sent daily pictures and updates. Our lab Luna loved her time with them. She got lots of snuggles and outside time. We will definitely bring Luna back again.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
