“Thank you for taking such great care of Grizzly. He came home happy and tired. We loved receiving all of the updates and photos. We will definitely be reaching out the next time we need a dog sitter!”

“KAREN WAS EXCELLENT!!!! Daily exercise, communication and thee best photos! I almost think my dog is sad to be back home!! Her whole family seemed to enjoy taking care of my sweet Delta. I also want to add that I used Rover for the first time, very last minute and Karen was also patient with me :) Hope she is available for our next trip!!!”

“Brianna was wonderful. She was amazing to Nova and treated her like her own. When we had problems at the airport coming back, Brianna was easy to talk to and made delay home less stressful since we knew our baby was in the best hands.”

“Jenna took such good care of my Max while we were away, he even got to sleep in her bed (which he loved)! He was spoiled with walks and lots of treats! We'll be looking to book Jenna again the next time we are out of town.”

“Great sitter! Highly recommend Nicole and Josh. Frank and Leo were very happy their entire stay and I could tell they loved it there. I got so many cute photos and the communication was wonderful and always quick. The boys are looking forward to their next stay!”

“Marie and Mark took great care of my extremely attention needing Basset hound. Sent lots of updates and treated her so kind. Would highly recommend them to watch your pets.”

“Abbie and her family took great care of our puppy. It was our first time leaving him with someone we didn’t know and we could not be happier. She sent many updates and picture and took great care to make sure she knew all of our dog’s needs. We could relax knowing our pup was happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend Abbie!”

“We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. If you have a senior dog with special needs and you're terrified to leave them — choose Patti and Patrick! We will never use anyone else.”

“Orlando and Nicki were great! They cared for Daisy like she was their own. Great communication and sent lots of photos of our pup having a wonderful time while we were away! We will use them again for sure! 100%!!!”

“Tiffany and Dustin went above and beyond to accommodate for Tenly. They cared for her as if she were their own. They will definitely be my first choice to care for Tenly in the future.”

“Ali was great and communicated to us throughout our trip perfectly. She was very flexible, and Piper seemed to have a great time with her and her family! Would love to go back there again next time”

“Brandy and her family did a wonderful job taking care of my dog! Photos every day! My dog is a geriatric with special needs and he was very well taken care of. I would definitely use them again!”

“Ollie loved being at Michelle’s! And no wonder- she’s knowledgeable, skilled, and showed genuine affection for him. Michelle provided individualized attention for settling him into happy interactions with her own little buddies and with other dog friends he met there. Sending us pictures and videos and messages settled any fretting we might have felt, too. Thank you, Michelle!”

“Lauren and James were phenomenal! Spent good time with my dog and send updated photos and videos. Very loving couple. I would recommend them if you are in a need for boarding.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Richmond
We so appreciated being able to leave Axle with Brianna and her family. She is clearly a dog lover and seemed to enjoy having him around. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Brianna was flexible regarding his schedule and his preferences in things like where he was most comfortable sleeping.
Chloe takes excellent care of Jessie. Chloe and her family are very loving and affectionate toward Jessie. I feel confident that Jessie is getting everything she needs to thrive while we are gone-walks, playtime and lots of attention. This is the second time we have used Chloe, and we will be using her again.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
