About: My wife and I have had dogs for over 25 years, we would love the chance to take in your pup while you're away. Be careful they might come home spoiled. I am able to give injections if needed, have experience with senior dogs. I am retired and able to take care of your dog 24/7. My wife is home by early afternoon and home on weekends, to also help with your dog's needs. I have a big fenced in backyard and a dog of my own for your pup to play with, he's about 50lbs. and loves to play ball.

“Taylor made me feel at ease while I was away from home and my pooch. She communicated every thing I needed to know about my little old lady during her visits. I will recommend Rover, and Taylor ! Thank you all !!”

“Marissa was amazing! I was nervous because this was our first time using Rover but as soon as I met Marissa I knew I had nothing to worry about and our fur babies would be well cared for. We had 4 drop in visits on one day and an early morning visit the next and Marissa always sent pictures and kept us updated. Our rottweiler plopped down in her lap the first time he met her and that says a lot! We will definitely use her again.”

About: Tail-wagging care you can count on! I have 20 years of pet sitting experience with a wide range of pet personalities and temperaments and 25 years of loving my own fur babies as well. I specialize in puppy care and basic training reinforcement (housetraining, play based development, leash manners), senior pet care (gentle handling, mobility support, medication administration), and special needs and rescue animals (with an understanding of anxiety, therapeutic support, and slow-trust building). I treat every pet like my own—with kindness, reliability, and plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. You can relax knowing your pet is not only safe, but genuinely cared for. :) I'm currently working part time from home so I prioritize caring for your pet with the same attention I gave to my own pets - making sure they’re happy, healthy, and safe while you're away. I have a fenced yard and an animal-friendly home. Currently there are no other pets in the home because my three fur babies have since passed on after 15-17 years of life. I now have two children (my daughter is 7, and my son is 4) who love animals and are very gentle and caring. If your pet doesn't prefer children, please let me know and I wouldn't bring them with me to care for your pet. :)

About: I've taken care of dogs since we got our first family dogs when I was 8 years old. Justin & Feisty were my first dogs and they were truly the light of my life from such a young age. I have experience with senior dogs as well from my time dog sitting for one of my neighbors. I love puppies and make sure to take them out constantly so that they learn that potty training is a serious business. I'm fairly active and love taking long walks and getting my exercise in, it would be fun to have a furry friend join be from time to time! I'm currently working in data analytics Monday-Friday from 9-5. Outside of that, I'm pretty free. I work from home one day out of the week and I am pretty free on the weekends as well. I am open to do night walks and morning walks as well. I keep a very clean space and love cuddling with pups on my furniture. I stay in a very close knit community at a Condo! There are other dogs around and there is a dog park connected to my community as well. There are plenty of places to walk around in my neighborhood and plenty of grassland as well. Pets are open to freely walk around in my home and are free to jump on furniture if it pleases them! I like to stay active and go on walks, however, I also love to stay in relax and catch up on some shows.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’m genuine, patient, and pay close attention to every pet’s individual needs. Whether that’s a playful pup full of energy or a senior dog who just wants a calm, comfy space. I treat every animal like they’re mine and part of the family. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and truly present with your pet! I’m available Monday through Friday during reasonable daytime and early evening hours. I try to keep a consistent routine so your pet gets reliable care. I’m flexible with advance notice and happy to work around your pet’s usual schedule as much as possible. I offer care in clients’ homes only, since I believe most pets do best in their own space and routine. I’m available for drop-ins, dog walks, and in-home sitting. I’ll follow whatever your pet is used to whether that’s a specific feeding time, meds, or just getting out for a walk and some fresh air. I’m always respectful of your home and try to keep things as low-stress as possible for both you and your pet!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life ranging from fish, amphibians, rodents, birds, cats, and dogs. I love connecting with animals and giving them all the love they deserve! I also am a former vet assistant (I now work at a vet lab) so I have experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and health statuses. My priority is the pets’ safety and comfort, and will work with them to ensure we have a foundation of trust. I also can work enrichment into my visits to get their minds more stimulated or just give them a 15 minute belly rub if that’s more up their alley. I’ve also trained many of my pets so I can help introduce basic commands to puppies or reinforce commands and manners from older pets. I’m available pretty much every day for the summer. Once mid-August comes around, I’ll be available Sunday-Tuesday at all times and Wednesday-Saturday from 9-11 AM I can come in let the pets out, clean up messes from them, feed/water, play enrichment games or work on training, and give them lots of love!

About: I have worked with animals in various roles throughout the years, from working in a doggy daycare, to volunteering and fostering with various rescue organizations (OTAT, RWAR). I am experienced in senior pet care, administering medication, and some obedience training. I have a soft spot for brachycephalic breeds, and I owned and raised a Boston Terrier rescue dog for 12 years (RIP Batman 2009-2023). I currently own a mellow and submissive lab/husky mix, Henry, and a Maine Coon/Domestic Medium Hair cat, Tater Tot. Both get along with other animals. I am currently not working a full time “normal” job, so I have plenty of time to walk and babysit your furry friends. I am available for on-demand walks in the city limits of Chicago and south suburbs. For North and Northwest Suburbs, I can be flexible with enou I own a historic Victorian row home; it is 3 stories plus a basement and 2600 sq ft. My home is in the heart of the Historic Pullman District, on National Park Service land. My neighborhood is VERY safe, and my home is also down the street from the 005 District Police Station. My home has plenty of room to spare for your fur children. Not only that, I also have a 6 ft fully fenced yard. There is a dog park 3 blocks from my home, and I am in close proximity to several Forest Preserves. If baths are requested, bath lovers can enjoy baths in a jacuzzi tub, and bath tolerators will be bathed in a walk in shower with a double rainfall showerhead, and a handheld shower head for the hard to reach spots. I can offer pickup and dropoff for those without a car or time to spare, and dogs will be transported in a seatbelt for safety.

About: Hi there! I'm Karenza, a devoted cat owner with a huge heart for dogs. While I can't give a furry friend a full-time home right now, I'd love to be their temporary best friend! I'm available for walks, playtime, and loving house visits. I have experience caring for dogs through babysitting for friends and family. Animals are my passion, and I dream of one day owning a farm to rescue and care for retired farm animals. Let's create some paw-some memories together! My schedule is pretty open and I am available daily. I am okay with morning walks or morning feedings with play time. I look forward to hanging out. I do have a cat and would prefer for our pets to meet before we try boarding. I want to make sure they will be able to get along.

About: I’ve helped raise 2 of my family’s dogs and now am raising a very well behaved puppy of my own. I am very responsible in all facets of my life and will properly tend to your dog’s needs. I am starting a remote job from Dyer, IN in July and would love to incorporate taking care of dogs into that flexible schedule of mine! Given my virtual workload, I am able to dedicate a large amount of time towards my Bentley and your dog. They will be given water/food, taken outside on walks, and anything else that’s needed :)

About: We have always had pets growing up. Both cats and dogs. I've had a pit bull in my early teens and had also adopted a 10yr old senior dog. I have experience giving my senior medicine and being extra gentle when it is needed. I currently have a reactive German Shepherd so if you're looking for someone to watch your big dog that pulls a lot, I have tons of experience and am strong enough to hold him or her. Basically I have had experience with animals in different stages of their life. Im still learning as Odin has training classes and I use what I learn to help with other pets. I've watched pets for friends and family in the past and have done drop in visits for years now. I am able to travel further distances if you aren't able to find someone local just send a message. I do work full-time so I can come before or after work through out the week. I'm off two days out of the week and if you would like to schedule a weekly walk schedule or drop in visit I will work closely with you to make my schedule accommodating for your pet. Ex. If you would like a certain day or if the week for me to walk and visit your dog I can request those days off if far enough in advance. Currently I am not doing overnight visits or day care but it's important to keep pets on their original schedule. For drop-in visits and walks, I think it would be best to stick to their original route and if they don't yet have one, a walk with a nice game of fetch is usually good enough to tire them out a bit. I will always send pictures when your pet and I are on our adventures together.

“Darcelle was great and my cats loved having her drop by to check on them. I appreciated that she played with them and cleaned up the food dishes. I recommend her and plan to call on her again when I can't be home.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover all my life! Something about these pure souls makes mine so happy. I enjoy walking dogs and am patient as they inspect every blade of grass. I have experience following strict eating directions and delivery of medications. Tell me what your dog loves, and I’ll be sure to deliver! I’m a freelance sign language interpreter, so my schedule is very flexible! Especially in the summertime when work slows down, I have plenty availability to care for your furry family in the event of summer vacations. If you choose pet care in your home, I know comfort and routine is at top of mind for your pet. I love instructions, and will follow them to a T. I will be respectful of your home so that you will return to a happy and well-loved pet as well as a home that looks just as you’ve left it.

“JeTaun was Outstanding! She even won over our crabby Tabby who barely tolerates us. She was very professional and communicative and we will absolutely be using her services again!”

Amanda R.
“Amanda is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve ever worked with. From the moment she met my golden retriever, Kilo, I knew she had a special connection with animals. He instantly warmed up to her, which speaks volumes about her naturally loving and approachable nature. But what truly sets Amanda apart is her patience, attentiveness, and genuine care for every dog she interacts with, regardless of breed or size. I've seen her handle shy, energetic, and even stubborn dogs with ease, always making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. One of the things I admire most about Amanda is her attention to detail and commitment to each pet’s routine. She follows every instruction I give her, ensuring Kilo eats and potties at the right times, and even goes the extra mile by taking him to the nearby dog park so he can socialize with other pups. At one point, she even managed to give Kilo a bath way easier than I ever could—a true testament to her patience and ability to handle dogs with care. She treats every pet as if they were her own, creating a safe and loving environment that puts both pets and their owners at ease. If you’re looking for a responsible, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter, Amanda is the one to call. Her love for animals shines through in everything she does, and I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking someone who will treat their dog like family!”
