About: I have had animals of all sizes and different personalities and energy levels. I have crate trained and fostered animals to find the right families. I always keep to a routine work then outside time and then chill at home time. I always find something productive to do throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard and a back door that leads straight to the back. Where your dog can run around as much as they would like.

As a Husky owner, I’m also familiar with more challenging, high-energy, and stubborn breeds.I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including those who are visually impaired or have medical conditions. I’ve worked with diabetic dogs and understand the importance of maintaining a strict schedule, as well as safely administering medication, including injections. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available on weekdays from 8am to 2pm, and again anytime after 4pm. On weekends, I have full availability and can accommodate care at any time. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities, and I strive to provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs.
About: For as long as I can remember, I have grown up with both dogs and cats! I have been surrounded by them whether it be them being my own pets( or should I say my own family members because let’s face it, they are our family), my relatives house and even my neighbors house when babysitting. I know it can be hard leaving your fur baby alone, I just hope that I can make them and you comfortable! I am a full time teacher at Camp Lejeune! I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm so I am available weekdays after 5:45 pm and then all weekend long. I take hour lunches so if in a nearby neighborhood I can let them out during the day or frequently on the weekends! In order to keep you and them at the most comfortable, I am able to house sit and take care of them in the comfort of your own home. I am 100% honest so that everyone has a happy, healthy and most importantly and safe stay!

We last minute booked with Dakota before the holidays due to our good friends (who have pet sit for us before) needing to cancel on us. This of course was very stressful at the time, it was last minute during the holidays, we had to travel, and we knew we would not be leaving our babies until we found a solution. A coworker of mine had mentioned Rover to me, and I just happened to find Dakota. His rates were very affordable, especially in comparison to the other pricier pet sitters on this site. Understandably, people are pricing themselves and accounting for the cut that Rover takes, but with that in mind Dakota is asking for nothing all while being just as qualified as many other accounts I could see. He would message me and wave hello to my ring camera as he came and went and he would always send more than one photo a day. One of my cats is very social and one is a little shy but oddly enough I can tell through the photos shared that my shy one warmed up to him very quickly and my social one was skeptical haha. By the end of our trips we would have the happiest pictures of our kitties with Dakota. Both my pets had some separation anxiety while I was gone which included accidents or vomiting and he kindly informed me on what happened and he cleaned it up. I really appreciate Dakotas care over our holiday period and I will be booking with him again privately due to Rover taking a large cut. I am very grateful for this app for connecting me to a forever pet sitter, I highly recommend Dakota.
