“This was our second time using Deanne and both times we gave her challenging circumstances which she handled exceptionally well!! This time…Our daughter was getting married so it was a busy and important weekend for us. One of our dogs was several weeks out from major surgery on both legs, on several medications and restrictions as well as needs for exercise and assistance. And, to add to the challenge she started her first heat cycle just as we were leaving and couldn’t have her therapy that week to help with her mobility and pain as a result . One of our other dogs has major anxiety issues so transitions can be hard for her as can simple things like noises and walks. Deanne handled all of this with ease and professionalism and Her updates were timely and helped us to enjoy the wedding without worrying a bit about the pets. We returned home to very happy pets. Deanne does an awesome job as a house and pet sitter and we wish there were more than 5 stars to give her. She is exceptional!! We will always use her in the future!”

About: I began doing pet sitting in 2016 for family & friends, and that was most of my sitting experience until I began my dog training certification. Now I’ve been in pet care professionally for two years, and have had my dog trainer certification for half of that. My weeks are based around pet care. I do it full-time and have a customizable schedule based around my various clients & appointments. I have special hours available at request. I make sure to get an exact outline of what is expected/allowed for the pet, and am not shy about requesting elaboration if there’s any confusion on my part. Additionally, I like to do what I can to keep them mentally stimulated with games, activities, and some light obedience training/reinforcement so they can hopefully carry that good behavior over to their daily life.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my lifelong experience with animals. I've always had pets, including those I've rescued and others I've raised from birth, so I'm familiar with a wide range of temperaments and needs. I've also provided loving care for several senior dogs and a senior cat I had since she was a kitten, giving me valuable experience with pets at every stage of life. Since I am primarily self employed, I am flexible in terms of availability! I am available day or night. I try mt best to accommodate client needs. Since I love in a second story condo, I walk my two canine boys several times daily for exercise and for bathroom needs. My cat, Gracie stays indoors but has everything she needs at her disposal.

About: I've grown up with animals my whole life- cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, etc. I've taken care of pets of all ages, from young to senior. I am available all days of the week, including the weekends. My time schedule is flexible and I would also be able to do drop in visits or stay overnight as well. By following owner specific instructions when given, I strive to make both the pet(s), and thus the owner, feel safe while under my current care.

I have to say we were nervous having someone stay in our house to watch DJ but Chris is so sweet and knowledgeable in her sitting skills, she had made us comfortable with choosing her. We are so glad we did as she did an awesome job. DJ acted like we never left. He even ate his meals while we were gone. Something he's rarely done.
