About: Use code “MELANL27139” to get $20 off your first booking with me! I am a lover of all animals! I have grown up with cats my entire life and have had dogs since my early 20s. Over the last few years my partner and I have raised goats, chickens and ducks in addition to our high energy dog and cat. I have had experience pet sittings dogs and cats with a variety of needs: from medication, injuries, anxiety, and destructive patterns/behavior. I am an active person and would love to take your dog(s) on walks, swims and adventures (with your consent of course). I am a hydrologist on a "sabbatical" and currently working on fixing up a family ranch. My days are flexible and I can incorporate walks, feedings, potty breaks, etc when necessary. We can arrange a schedule that suits both you and your pets needs. Initially, I like to check in with the owner to determine what actions and environments their pets thrive in. Whether it's treats, pets, affections, play time, walks, etc, it's important to ensure my intentions are appropriate. Typically, a meet and greet is set up to establish expectations. I believe consistent communication including photos, phone calls, texts, and or emails is necessary to ensure you feel connected to your pets while you're away. The level and form of communication will be established prior to your departure and can be fluid based on your comfort level. I want to ensure you feel at ease while I am watching your animals and home.
8. Karen O.
“Karen was awesome! Ghost is new to us and our family, so he was initially shy and protective. But Karen took her time to let Ghost adjust and they quickly became friends! Karen did a great job following all my care instructions (giving him water breaks, not allowing him to pull on the leash, etc.) and Ghost has a great time with her.”

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life because my parents always had dogs when I was growing up. I have dog sat for friends and neighbors countless times. I have been relied on to walk, feed, bathe, and give medicine to dogs. I know how to safely crate dogs, dispose of pee pads, and will make sure a dog can do their business when they need to. I also have lived with cats before so I know how to care for them. I work part time as a lifeguard, so I can take care of pets before and after I go to work since I do not work long days. I cannot watch other pets where I rent right now, but I will make sure your pets is comfortable and well taken care of in your home.

12. James W.
“James is a great pet owner. He currently has one cat. In the past he has owned as many as two dogs and two cats at the same time. They have all been very well cared for and loved. He also has been a licensed pet groomer. He frequently talks about the fact that he was able to groom some of the more troublesome dogs because he gets along with them so well. I have had him care for my dog and would certainly feel comfortable having him do so again.”
