Animals are a gift and I am very passionate about making sure every pet under my care is treated well and spoiled with attention! I have been taking care of animals my entire life and genuinely love it! I adore my Rover crew (people AND pets) and also have made amazing connections and relationships through fostering animals in the Colorado Springs area. I had the opportunity to foster dogs and cats through El Paso County Canine Rescue when I lived in Colorado and learned so much. Every animal deserves a beautiful life with people who care for them. My mom worked at a pet store when I was young and was also a veterinary assistant for years. I had the pleasure of watching her at work and lending a helping hand. I learned so much growing up in that environment and was even able to get my very first job at Petco years ago working as a small animal specialist. I house-sat/dog (and cat)-sat for multiple family friends and even dropped by houses to care for animals while I was in college and continue to help friends and family with their pets when they are vacationing or they take small work trips. My life has always been surrounded by pets of every kind ranging from mice and reptiles to dogs and cats... we even had a few roosters at one point. I currently have a Golden Greek tortoise named Buddy and three spunky dogs; a female Husky named Bandit, a female Shih-tzu/Chihuahua named Miley, and a female Chihuahua named Penny, who of course thinks she is the boss. They are a huge part of our family! I understand how precious and important fur babies are and will make sure to give your sweet babies great care! Please let me know if you have any questions.
