From raising two pit bulls from puppies through their senior years to currently caring for my energetic husky, I have hands-on experience with all kinds of breeds. About: I’ve been a pet sitter for a few years now. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and puppies as young as 6 weeks old. I have a deep love for animals and want to start a career as a vet tech. For now, I’m looking to work as close to full time as possible to save up for school. My schedule is very open right now, and I’m available weekends and holidays. I prefer to do extended stays, and will give them priority as far as bookings go. I’m available to watch your pets in your home, but I cannot provide boarding services at this time. I’m happy to do some additional tasks while I’m there, such as watering plants and doing light cleaning.

About: I've worked at a Dog Boarding and Doggie Daycare Center in the past and have also owned and cared for 5 of my own dogs. I've cared for dogs of many breeds and love them all. My philosophy is that a physically and mentaly exercised dog is a happy dog. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. I’m available to care for the dogs all day and ensure the pups get lots of exercise and attention. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

I love to take my own dogs on my adventures throughout the Santa Cruz mountains from casual walks to long adventure runs and so I can accommodate whatever your dog needs. About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. We enjoy exploring new areas and are happy to have your dogs show us all their favorite spots to hang out! Rather than upend your dog's routine on top of you being out of town, we will come to you! We are willing/able to handle any morning/evening routines (food/water, oral meds, walks, potty needs) and your dog can sleep with us if so inclined.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I would pet-sit my neighbors' furry babies mainly because I wasn't allowed to have pets at home, so that was my way of being around these amazing creatures. I have lived in homes with dogs and cats and finally have my own. My husband and I trained our pups ourselves. We both work from home and have pretty flexible schedules, which is excellent for providing your fur babies the care and attention they deserve. Although we don't have a fenced yard, we live in a very safe area. We have ample space to play with the dogs. We can easily crate your dog if needed. They are allowed on the couches and in bed.
