“Annelliese was my saving angel! She earned the most glowing review. I have 2 senior dogs and cat who need very special care right now, with medication and a detailed regimen. I never leave them these days, because only I know if one of my babies isn’t feeling well. I had a family emergency and I needed to leave them with someone who could stay here. I was so nervous to do that with all that is going on with senior illnesses. Well I saw Annelliese’s profile and she was as wonderful as her profile describes her! She was very detailed, very in tune with the animals, immediate response to my nervous texts, and followed my suggestions to help with feeding issues. The house was super tidy and she even took out the trash! Annelliese is very sweet and definitely an animal whisperer. I can’t recommend her enough and she is the perfect sitter for any care situation!”

“Lupita was great with our two dogs. Our dogs have some special needs and she was fantastic with them and gave us nice little updates on how they were doing while we were gone.”

“Highly recommend Donna as both a dog and house sitter. My plants did better while I was gone than when I'm at home, the house was perfectly clean, and I got lots of sweet photos during our time away. Donna responds quickly to messages, shows up on time, and was willing to put in the time to get to know our reactive pup. So grateful to have found such a great dog sitter!”

“Diana was excellent housesitting my two dogs Daisy and Uno. She asked all the right questions before I left town to ensure the sit would go smoothly and she sent updates twice a day every day. Overall a great experience, would recommend”

“Here’s a polished review for Vanessa: Review for Vanessa – Fantastic Dog Sitter! Vanessa was an amazing dog sitter for Elliot while we were on vacation for our wedding. From the start, she was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure Elliot felt comfortable and well cared for. She sent us daily photos and videos, and it was clear that he was having a great time with her. Elliot can be a pretty needy dog, so finding the right sitter was really important to us—and Vanessa was absolutely the right choice. She gave him all the attention and care he needed, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. We highly recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We’ll definitely be asking her to sit for Elliot again in the future!”

“Kristina did a great job housesitting our elderly dog and three cats. She took care of our dog’s special needs and administered medication, sent timely updates and communicated clearly. Kristina even navigated a couple of unexpected issues with our house (a smart lock malfunction and a sprinkler system leak). We’d definitely have her back — hopefully she’ll have an easier stay next time..!”

“Chloe was fantastic with my dog. Chloe was incredibly communicative and easy-going, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. She was very considerate of my dog's puppy behavior, which really eased my worries. She also provided plenty of exercise for my dog. What stood out the most was that Chloe shared notes on what she did and observed during her day with my dog, something no other Rovers have done before. This thoughtful touch made me feel reassured that my dog was in great hands. I would definitely recommend Chloe and book again.”

“Lara was an awesome dog sitter on short notice after other sitters cancelled late. She spent time to meet before and sent pics and updates during my weekend away. I recommend her highly if you want the best for your four legged friends.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities. From raising two pit bulls from puppies through their senior years to currently caring for my energetic husky, I have hands-on experience with all kinds of breeds. Since I was 14, I’ve been the go-to dog walker and sitter for neighbors, friends, and family—trusted to walk, feed, bathe, and even help train their pets. I’m comfortable giving medication, handling senior dogs with special needs, and making sure every pup feels loved and secure. Your dog will be in caring, patient, and experienced hands! I’m currently working an internship at Tesla in Palo Alto, CA, Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. My schedule is flexible because I split my time between working remotely and in the office. This allows me to provide midday walks, evening care, and lots of attention on weekends. I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits in the afternoons, evenings, and all weekend long. Your pup will always have someone attentive around! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is for dogs to be in their own home, where they feel most relaxed and secure in their familiar environment. I keep your dog’s routine consistent, whether that means regular walks around the neighborhood, playtime, or simply quiet company. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs—whether they’re energetic or like their alone time—and I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and gentle care. You can trust that your pup will be treated like family, happy and safe until you return. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby. I’m here to provide the same gentle, loving care I’d want for my own dogs. Can’t wait to meet your pup.

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for a few years now. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and puppies as young as 6 weeks old. I have a deep love for animals and want to start a career as a vet tech. For now, I’m looking to work as close to full time as possible to save up for school. My schedule is very open right now, and I’m available weekends and holidays. I prefer to do extended stays, and will give them priority as far as bookings go. I’m available to watch your pets in your home, but I cannot provide boarding services at this time. I’m happy to do some additional tasks while I’m there, such as watering plants and doing light cleaning.

About: I've worked at a Dog Boarding and Doggie Daycare Center in the past and have also owned and cared for 5 of my own dogs. I've cared for dogs of many breeds and love them all. My philosophy is that a physically and mentaly exercised dog is a happy dog. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. I’m available to care for the dogs all day and ensure the pups get lots of exercise and attention. We are very active and enjoy taking the dogs to dog parks, hikes, walks around the block and playing with toys in the yard. We follow a consistent schedule that keep the pups busy! We normally start the day with walk and training, then breakfast and lots of play in the yard throughout the day. We try to go on adventures as much as possible too. Our evenings often include time on the couch with lots of pets before dinner and bed time. I send lots of photos of our day.

About: Hey! Glad to see you here! My name is Morgan, and while I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to animal care. You can see my past experience on the IG account I’m currently building @morgansnugglesyourdog 🐾 If you want someone who aims to understand your pets, respects their routines, is intentional, and takes a thoughtful, behavior-focused approach to care — welcome! I’m a calm, capable sitter who tailors care to your pet’s unique needs, energy level, and emotional comfort. Whether your dog is a mellow senior, a wild child in training, or just your average well-behaved snugglebug, I offer structure, enrichment, affection, and the kind of consistency pets thrive on. I believe all animals deserve to be heard and deserve intentional care and structure. ❌ Things I don’t do: • Dog parks • Chaotic group situations • Handing out treats “just because” • Pushing past an animal’s comfort zone • Ignoring or minimizing behavioral needs ✅ Things I do: • Personalized, temperament-based care • Adventures (if your pet is up for it!) • Daily enrichment and mental stimulation • Intentional structure and calm routines • Respecting your pet’s boundaries and setting healthy ones • All the snuggles (when invited!) I also have hands-on experience with cats, small animals (like guinea pigs and rats), reptiles, and even farm animals like pigs and ducks. If it has paws, claws, hooves, or scales — chances are, I’ve cared for it. When it’s a good fit, I love incorporating dogs into my daily life — whether that’s a nature walk, a car ride to town, or just relaxing outside. But I never take dogs to dog parks or chaotic spaces. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

About: I have been a lifelong dog owner. I can care for a variety of pups from young and energetic to senior pups. I love to take my own dogs on my adventures throughout the Santa Cruz mountains from casual walks to long adventure runs and so I can accommodate whatever your dog needs. I also like to spend time training and practicing commands because dogs also like to be engaged mentally along with the physical. Of course love and affection through cuddles is always guaranteed and unlimited. I have lots of experienced with many different dog personalities and can accommodate them accordingly to make sure they are well cared for. I have a very flexible schedule that is mostly already based around my own pups so I am very much able to accommodate yours as well! I have availability to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets throughout the day and evening. I already incorporate activities like dog walking and trail running into my daily routine which means I can offer active dogs a great adventure while also being available for quiet cuddle and consistent care for all pets. In my home, I treat every guest like family. My home is a safe, dog-friendly environment with a fenced yard where they can play safely. We'll follow their regular feeding schedule and I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise with daily walks, running for high-energy dogs, and lots of mental stimulation. In the evenings, it's all about cuddles and relaxation on the couch, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is to maintain their familiar routine. I'll adhere strictly to their feeding schedule, walking routine, and any specific commands they know. My goal is to be a calm and reliable presence, providing consistent care and affection in their own environment. I'll also ensure your home is kept clean and secure, leaving it just as I found it.

“Aiyana did a great job caring for our dog and cats and fish while we were away for the holidays. Very thankful for her attention to detail and sharing photos and videos while we were away.”

About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. We enjoy exploring new areas and are happy to have your dogs show us all their favorite spots to hang out! Rather than upend your dog's routine on top of you being out of town, we will come to you! We are willing/able to handle any morning/evening routines (food/water, oral meds, walks, potty needs) and your dog can sleep with us if so inclined.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I would pet-sit my neighbors' furry babies mainly because I wasn't allowed to have pets at home, so that was my way of being around these amazing creatures. I have lived in homes with dogs and cats and finally have my own. My husband and I trained our pups ourselves. We both work from home and have pretty flexible schedules, which is excellent for providing your fur babies the care and attention they deserve. We are both loving and caring people and look forward to caring for your pet. Our main goal is to ensure you feel at ease leaving your precious pet in our care. Although we don't have a fenced yard, we live in a very safe area. We have ample space to play with the dogs. We can easily crate your dog if needed. They are allowed on the couches and in bed. Your furry friend will be treated and cared for as one of ours.

“Samantha (Pepper) is a great in house dog sitter. Trustworthy, mature and an obvious lover of animals. When we arrived home the dogs were content and super happy. We recommend Pepper for all your animal needs! Thanks so much!”

Rices Junction pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lara was the most wonderful pet and house sitter for our weeklong vacation. She did a great job treating eye issues and they looked perfect when we returned. The animals and their quarters were clean and everyone was happy. The house looked fantastic! Big thanks to Lara. We have found our pet sitter of choice!

Samantha AKA Pepper is a DREAM COME TRUE Pet Sitter! I hesitate to give an honest review (HA HA HA) because we want her all to ourselves. She is so gentle, loving, caring, compassionate, and the best communicator in a pet sitter we've ever had! She kept us posted when one of our cats fell ill and helped us trouble shoot every step of the way- giving us peace of mind while we were far away. I cannot recommend her highly enough- but she might be hard to book as we plan on booking her every day for the next 10 years~! (joke!) You cannot do better than Samantha!
