“We arrived home to a happy and healthy pup. Carrie took great care of Sam and left the house immaculate. We also got daily pictures of Sam enjoying his own home and yard. We would not hesitate to have Carrie watch Sam again!”

“Arthur is amazing with both my dog and cats! He’s dependable, easy to communicate with, and treats them like his own. I loved getting updates and pictures while I was away — it made me feel so comfortable knowing they were in great hands. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter!”

About: When I was in college I went and got my dog on a whim. I didn’t need any training or help to take care of him I just immediately knew what needed to be done. He needed a safe home and that’s what I provide for him. I’m great with walking (especially large dogs) and love playing with them. I currently work real estate so I am usually on the go. When I am out of my house I don’t mind stopping by to check on animals even if it’s more than I need to check. I always think if I am out I might as well check on them. I will always be sure to get the animals out in a timely manner. I have 2 dogs of my own so I understand their need to get out on time and get fed on time.

About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting for about 5 years, starting with walking neighborhood dogs and growing into house sitting and boarding. I’ve also had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m experienced with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or sticking to their routine, I treat every pet like my own and give them plenty of attention and care! I’m a college student with mostly online coursework, so I have a flexible schedule and am home often. I also care for my two fur babies daily, so pet care is already a big part of my routine! I’m available most days, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel at home. I have two friendly dogs of my own and always make sure introductions are done safely and at a pace that’s comfortable for everyone. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I keep dogs active and engaged with regular walks around my neighborhood and supervised time outside. I always follow your instructions closely, stick to your pet’s routine, and provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away!

“This was my first time using Iliana as a sitter for our pitbull, Jackson. I will definitely be booking her again. When we returned from vacation we had a happy dog, and a clean house. She was very attentive to Jackson, and sent several photos every day.”

About: With over 40 years of experience caring for animals and people—including work as a veterinary technician and a retired CNA/caregiver—I provide dependable, detail-oriented care you can trust. At Denney’s Den, dogs enjoy doggy Airbnb-style stays in my home- a calm, cozy, low-stress environment where they’re treated like family and given personalized attention while away from their hoomans. I also offer drop-in visits in your home, ensuring your pets receive consistent, compassionate care in the space they’re most comfortable. Since retiring from healthcare, caring for animals has become my full-time work. I am home most days, allowing me to provide hands-on attention, supervision, and a calm, structured routine for the pets in my care. My home offers a calm, safe environment with a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I intentionally limit the number of boarding dogs so each pet receives personalized attention. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish during middle school and high school as well as during breaks during college. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their animals from as little as a weekend to as much as 2 weeks at a time. I am currently a student at Appalachian State University and have plenty of time in the morning, afternoon, and evening time frames to take care of animals. I do not currently have a pet-friendly residence, but I am capable of walking, feeding, and playing with animals at their homes and within their neighborhoods.
About: I have been around animals for the entirety of my life and have been raised to believe that they are family. I believe that animals come before myself. I think that my purpose as a human is to make their lives better! I am currently full time in school. My mornings Monday-Thursday are taken until 2pm. Other than that I am as free as you need me to be! I care for pets by following their routine, keeping them safe, fed, and happy, and giving them plenty of love and attention whether in my home or yours.
“Katie was an awesome caregiver to our 3 dogs - one of which is a super-senior with physical and cognitive issues. She provided great care including Rx med administration.”
About: My name is Samantha and I have been around and cared for dogs most of my life. I have always loved dogs. I currently have two dogs. The oldest is almost 4 years old and he is a Dalmatian. The youngest is 2 years old and is a mixed breed, we fostered him and decided to adopt him. They are both friendly and love other dogs. I have been fostering dogs for local rescue groups for about 2 years now. I really enjoy helping out dogs that are in need of some extra love, attention, and a place to stay while they find their forever homes. If you are in need of someone to take your dog/ dogs for a walk, come let them out to get some exercise and use the bathroom, someone to watch your dog while you are away, or whatever the need may be I would be happy to help.
About: As a lifelong dog lover and devoted pet owner, I understand that pets are more than just animals—they're family. While I may not have years of professional pet-sitting experience, I've spent countless hours caring for pets of friends and family, always treating them as if they were my own. My dog, Jack, is my right-hand man, and in my home, pets are welcomed with love, comfort, and plenty of adventure. Whether it's lounging on the couch, snuggling in bed, or exploring the state park for walks and rides, your pet will be treated like family—because that's exactly what they are. With a flexible work-from-home schedule, I have the ability to dedicate my time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it’s morning playtime, midday walks, or just extra cuddles throughout the day, I make sure every pet feels loved and important. Since I’m home most of the time, I can provide a consistent, comfortable environment where your pet gets the attention they deserve—just like I do with my own dog, Jack. From outdoor adventures to cozy downtime, their routine will feel natural, stress-free, and full of love. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for your pet, whether in my home or yours. I provide a secure and loving environment where your pet can feel at ease. If they’re staying with me, they’ll always be under my watch unless I need to step out briefly—during which they can either roam freely with my dog, Jack, or be safely crated based on your preference. I have plenty of experience with crate training and have a crate available if needed. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for, just like they would in their own home.
“Mara is amazing with our girls. We were nervous to leave them with a stranger at first however she made everything go so smoothly and bonded with them immediately! From posted pictures to us and giving details about her visits with them we quickly realized what a great pet sitter she is. I would highly recommend her. Thank you so much!”

Rhodhiss pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kate was wonderful. She went above and beyond while home and pet sitting for us. From texting to pictures and doing things not even asked of her. She is a kind soul, truly building a great reputation for herself. It’s easy to see why she has so many repeat clients. Thank you for everything, Kate! We would absolutely book with her again.

Kate is an awesome person and the best pet sitter I've ever had. We adopted a shepard collie mix with high anxiety, who was clearly not socialized. She's made great progress, but having a stranger come into her home without us there? We just won't ever take a dog-free vacation. Until the in-laws decided we're all going to Florida. Finding Kate has been a lifesaver, and so good for our baby. She came over multiple times, taking baby steps to gain trust and let our crazy girl get comfortable. This was our first overnight and it went so well! I'm so grateful for her patience and willingness to work with us. ❤️
