Every pet has their own complicated care instructions (tons of medications, special diets, schedules, etc.), but Jasmine followed all of our directions perfectly and was so awesome in communicating with us while we were away. We got tons of pictures and videos and it was incredibly reassuring to know all of our animals were receiving the care and affection they needed. Usually our senior dog is very sick after a trip away, so coming home to a healthy and happy boy was a huge win. I think the dog and cats maybe miss her more than they had missed us!”

About: I grew up in a household that took in more than 7 strays dogs, and now I have 1 rescue dogs myself. I used to take care for my two 13 year old dogs and I am able to take care of special needs dogs. I currently work as a professor, and working towards a doctoral degree. About: Ever since I can remember we’ve had a fur friend in the house! My family and I at one point in time fostered fur friends until they could go to their forever home! I have been around and taken care of all kinds of dogs from pit bulls -chihuahuas! I am working part time right now and going to college online to be a speech and language pathologist! The times I work do vary between morning shifts and closing shifts! I want my fur friends and family to feel as safe and cared for as I do in any environment! I want them to feel loved and sometimes extra cuddles are needed… not that I’m complaining! My fur friends get lots of cuddles whenever they want and or need them! About: I’m a dog owner of a 4-year-old German Shepherd with epilepsy and an 8-year-old Beagle. Caring for my Shepherd has given me hands-on experience administering medication on a consistent schedule, monitoring for seizures and staying calm and responsive if one occurs. My dogs are also decently trained, so I’m comfortable reinforcing basic commands and maintaining structure. Having two completely different types of breeds also gives me experience with a different energy level and the attention to both of their different needs. Together they’ve taught me how to balance exercise, rest, mental stimulation, and individualized care for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. Being a military veteran I am also reliable, and consistent. I have lived with dogs all of my life and love meeting all kinds of different breeds. I’m happy to follow your routines closely, send regular updates and photos, and provide the calm, consistent care that helps dogs feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently on terminal leave from the military and will be starting my graduate program soon, with classes only on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This gives me a flexible schedule with plenty of free time on the other weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m available for sitting, and walks most days and can easily adjust around my class times to provide pet care. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes and temperaments and will follow your routines, medication needs, and any special instructions closely. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish during middle school and high school as well as during breaks during college. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their animals from as little as a weekend to as much as 2 weeks at a time. I am currently a teacher in Catawba county and have plenty of time in the mornings before school, late afternoons after school, and evening time frames to take care of animals. About: My name is Samantha and I have been around and cared for dogs most of my life. I have always loved dogs. I currently have two dogs. The oldest is almost 4 years old and he is a Dalmatian. The youngest is 2 years old and is a mixed breed, we fostered him and decided to adopt him. They are both friendly and love other dogs. I have been fostering dogs for local rescue groups for about 2 years now. I really enjoy helping out dogs that are in need of some extra love, attention, and a place to stay while they find their forever homes.
