About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since high school! I am comfortable and familiar with multiple pets at once and even some more eclectic animals like reptiles (turtles and snakes). I would only be able to come to your house to pet sit or walk, I would not be able to bring pets to my apt. I would only be able to pet sit in your home as I live in an apartment where I am unable to bring animals into my space.

About: Hello! My name is Kaylee, I am 23 years old and my biggest personality trait is my love for animals. If you were to ask someone who knows me, they may say “that girl with the zoo? I currently have 5 pets, who I consider my children, and that is the least amount of animals I have ever owned at once. (Only due to apartment living.) Caring for animals is my comfort and passion, it truly brings me joy. I have never lived a day without pets- and I don’t want to, so, I focused my career around them. However, I’m still in search of more! I am currently a manager at a dog boarding facility part time, and I love my job, but I would love to find more local work. At my facility, I am currently managing multiple groups of up to 20 free ranged dogs at a time. I have worked with nearly every dog breed out there, and I have loved them all. I have experience in handling many medical conditions in dogs, such as anxiety, allergies, seizures, joint issues, diabetes, asthma, and many more. I also have experience in administering a multitude of medications, including inhalers and insulin. I am currently working part time, and my work days are typically the same each week. I am unavailable on my work days during hours 4 AM- 3 PM, but I would love to work with you any other time! The approach I take to care for a pet depends on the pets temperament and needs. As I have probably met over 2,000 dogs at this point- I understand that each dog is different. Some may want constant affection, and I’m more than happy to give that! However, I know that some pets appreciate their space, or need to be taken slowly with.

I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for dogs who are happiest in their own space. I’d love to meet your pup! Feel free to reach out to check availability or set up a meet-and-greet. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.

At the entrance, we have a paw-cleaning station, where every time the dogs go out or come back in, we wash their paws with dog-safe soap and water before letting them walk freely inside the apartment. I’m happy to share details about the soap I use, and if your pet has any allergies or needs a specific type of shampoo, please let me know so I can use their own product and ensure their comfort and safety. 🧼🐾 It’s also very important to let me know if your dog has any food allergies or follows a strict diet. Sometimes a small piece of fruit, a bit of cheese, or a treat dogs love 🧀🍎 might sneak its way in —and I always want to make sure everything your pet receives is completely safe. 💕🐶 For Drop-Off and Pick-Up, you’re welcome to come right up to my door to say goodbye to your furry friend, or if you prefer, you can sit on the porch for a few minutes to have a calm and loving farewell. The same applies when you come for pick-up —I want both you and your pet to feel relaxed and supported during that transition. 💛🐾 🐾 I’m also very flexible with schedules and family needs. If you live nearby, I can offer free pick-up for your pet. If you’re a bit farther away, I can still help with transportation for a small, low fee, just to cover travel costs.
