My husband and I are really happy that Savannah came and house/pet sit for us. She did an outstanding job! We give her 12 paws up because we have 3 dogs and they will agree! She was truly amazing with our dogs, they simply love her! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to get away from home for a little while. One of our dogs are anti social and Savannah brought her out of that! We have never seen Missy interact with anyone but she loves Savannah!! You can rest assure when you hire Savannah she won't let you down. My husband and I are very comfortable and relaxed with her and our dogs too! We will be hiring her back if she's available when we need her.

About: Growing up I lived on a livestock farm so my life for animals came natural and at a very early age. I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.

We love Hailey and would recommend her to watch your dogs! This is our second time using her (first time was to watch our foster pup). This time she took care of our two fur balls while we went on vacation. She provided daily updates so we knew they were having a great time with her! Hailey following the detailed instructions we left, which we very much appreciated. Our dogs seemed to have loved her as well as they got daily fetch sessions, lots of pets, and a neighborhood walk during her stay. We hope you choose to book with Hailey! We will definitely use her again to care for our babies!

About: Hi, all! Years of living with and caring for pets and working as a veterinary assistant has led me to be attentive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, so loving to any and all animals. I currently care for a pup, cat and ducks in my life. I intend to care for your pet as if it were my own! I am easy-going, flexible and willing to abide by any reasonable requests in care-taking. This won’t be considered “work” for me. It’s a bonus for the joy of spending time with and caring for animals and helping out pet parents as well :) I hope to meet you and your pet soon! Krista E. As far as my schedule, I am completely open during the daytime. I work evening shifts five days a week, but my schedule changes weekly. For walking: 1-2 walks a day from the hours of 8-3. I can also do night walks on days that I work, outside of the hours of 3-10ish, depending on the day. If I am off, I can walk at any time in the day or evening. I am willing to make multiple visits in a day. For House Drop-Ins: Similar to above, the evening times may vary. For House Sitting: I receive my schedule weekly, so I am available for overnight at least twice a week. However, if consecutive days are needed, I will be available for morning and afternoon care, but will have to leave for work and return afterward at night. Again, this time varies, so it will be either 3-8:30/9ish that I am gone, or 4-10/11ish. I can understand if this is an issue, but am willing to walk during the day, feed, and let out for a potty break as soon as I am able. I do not accept pets in my home because of the other animals already here, but as far as in yours, I am clean, courteous, quiet, respectful, and most importantly, there to keep your pet well-cared for, entertained, and at ease.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST! That is where I start. We had to book him in a pinch and we were able to get a meet and greet in with Khalil and our 3(65# plus) dogs. The meet and greet went great and he showed up on time 3 days later. We received photos every single day. He stayed in our home and was able to keep them entertained while there. The photos we received they were always looking happy. We were gone for 10 days and when we came back it was like we had just left with the house being clean. Khalil stayed in our guest room. We didn't ask him to but he took the sheets off of the bed and put them in the laundry room. The dishes he had used were put in the dishwasher. Main thing was to take care of our dogs and he went above and beyond on that! We will absolutely recommend Khalil to anyone and everyone looking for short and long term stays. Khalil was very responsive. We will be going back to him when we have to be out of town again. Khalil made it so easy to trust that they would be in good hands and taken care of the entire time. I could go on and on. An overall phenomenal experience.

I cannot say enough great things about Ced! My dog is very anxious and quite picky about new people, so we did a meet and greet first. You could tell right away that he was great with dogs and Keeper (my dog) has never warmed up to anyone so quickly! That is when I knew Cedrick would be a great match. I, too, am apparently anxious and picky about newness haha (this was my first time using Rover) and I was a little nervous and overwhelmed when I first started looking on the site. I wanted to make sure I found the best fit for my baby, so having that meetup and just knowing Keeper was with someone who was so caring and good with him put me at ease immediately. Not only did I feel comfortable with how he interacted with Keeper beforehand, but Ced went above and beyond during the stay and sent multiple pictures every day of all their adventures, and I could just see how happy my dog was in each of them!! I have boarded Keeper before and had to call and ask multiple times to get a single picture of my dog during his stay, whereas Cedrick sent so many without me ever having to ask. I REALLY appreciated that, and it just made me feel even more at ease during this entire experience! He was so caring and patient with my anxious pupper and I am so thankful to have found him! I will definitely be using Ced again anytime I need someone to stay with Keeper!! If you are like me and nervous to trust someone with your baby for the first time- just know that you can't go wrong with him! Thank you again!!

I am a responsible 18 year old who just graduated from early college and am looking for jobs to keep me busy this summer. I am currently also working part-time so if I am given enough notice I work around my schedule to pet or house sit any day and time. When caring for clients animals I tend to give them a lot of attention and follow any rules given regarding feeding and/or house rules. When house sitting I tend to not mess with owners things and just keep to one space.

About: Hi! My name is Julia, and I’m a HUGE animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats 🐾 I currently have two senior dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with slower routines, extra patience, and paying close attention to their needs. I also regularly cat sit for my grandmother’s senior cats, helping with feeding, litter care, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. In addition, I care for my brother’s cat who is under a year old, so I understand the needs that come with younger, more energetic pets as well. I treat every pet like my own and believe a gentle, attentive approach works best. Whether your pet is high-energy or more laid back, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away 💛 I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and follow any specific instructions to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’m a dental assistant with a flexible schedule, so my availability varies throughout the week. I don’t work every day, which allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to the pets I care for. On days I am working, I’m still available for morning, evening, and overnight care, and I make sure your pet is not left alone for long periods. On my days off, I have much more open availability and can be fully present for walks, playtime, and companionship. I do my best to keep my schedule updated and will always communicate clearly to ensure your pet’s needs are consistently met. I provide care in my client’s home through drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I find that pets are often most comfortable in their own environment, which helps reduce stress and keep their routine consistent. I always follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any specific preferences your pet may have. I take a gentle and patient approach, especially with senior, shy, or anxious pets. I treat both your pet and your home with the same level of care and respect as my own, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m also happy to do a meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone ☺️

About: Hi there! I’m an experienced veterinary technician with a passion for caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Through my years in veterinary medicine, I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies and curious kittens to senior pets and those with special medical needs. Whether your pet is shy, anxious, high-energy, or simply loves extra cuddles, I strive to provide patient, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your wonderful pets! I work every Friday through Sunday, so those days I am unavailable. I am off from work every Monday to Thursday - available any time of day. FAQs for House Sitting - Raynham

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Raynham on Rover is $27.75 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 116 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Raynham. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Raynham walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Raynham maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Raynham choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
