I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I also understand that dogs live in real families with real challenges. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. My goal is always to help create calmer, safer, and more enjoyable relationships between dogs and the people who love them. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. About: I've grown up caring for multiple breeds of dogs and some cats. I have adopted an older Lab Mix from a kill shelter and he is the sweetest, calm and loving dog. Large dogs are my specialty but I love smaller dogs as well. Caring for them comes natural, on top of giving them plenty of space to run and exercise. I am comfortable giving any dogs medications as I have experience giving my own the same. If there is any specification you'd like for dog boarding, I am more than positive those needs can be met. Walking dogs is an everyday activity I do to keep them mobile and active as well as myself! I just enjoy any type of companionship that comes with caring for dogs! I’m currently working from home which helps allow us to provide full time care for our animals, as well as yours! We’re able to be outside and play anytime throughout the day. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of room to roam and play outside. With cameras in the front and back yard that helps us keep a close eye on their movement to ensure safety.

About: I’ve had all animals, big and small. Mostly labs, doodles, and retrievers, but also bully’s, Great Danes, and yorkies. We have a huge fenced in backyard and 2 doodles with the middle name “zoomies”. Our family is looking forward to connecting with you, and an opportunity to love on your pups. Someone is usually always home so crate time is very minimal unless that’s the preference. Plenty of time and space to run and play if weather permits. Huge fenced in back yard for running and playing as well as 2 doodles and 2 children who adore dogs to keep them company while they are hanging with us.
