“I don’t even have words! Kelsey and her family are absolutely amazing! We’ve used several Rover sitters and no one even compares to this family. Tucker suffers from separation anxiety and you wouldn’t know it when he’s with their family. Kelsey is the sweetest and her husband is great also. They were patient and so sweet during our meet and greet. Thank you so much Kelsey and Family!! ❤️”

“Rachel and Newt are by far the best people we could have ever stumbled across. Our dog Tank had the best time with them. The photos we received of how comfortable he was took us by surprise and made us smile. We are absolutely going to keep booking with them as long as Tank is with us. Thank you both!”

“Nicole is an amazing dog sitter! My dog, Shadow, is a very shy girl who sometimes can take some time to warm up to new people. Nicole was extremely accommodating in making sure Shadow was comfortable with herself and her dogs and Shadow had a blast staying with Nicole!”

“Kaitlin is such a joy and I'm grateful that she has been able to care for Bailey while we're away. Kaitlin is attentive and provides a safe, mentally and physically stimulating environment for Bailey.”

“I boarded my bloodhound for over a week, and Kristi did an amazing job taking care of my dog and providing tons of pictures/videos/updates. Previously, my dog has had difficult experiences being boarded with other sitters. But with Kristi, he was happy and relaxed with no signs of stress.”

“Jasmine was wonderful with our corgi! She kept us updated, sent photos, and asked questions regarding her care. She even accepted a last minute booking. We would definitely rebook again with Jasmine!”

“For the first time ever, I had to leave my dog son for more than a day and I was definitely very uncertain on this whole you know . I couldn’t have asked for a better family to watch over my best friend and care for him like they did. Had me at ease while I was gone the whole time if you’re looking for the same reassurance, I was looking no further!”

“Pam is amazing! Took notes about our dog during an initial meeting, sent us pictures and videos with a daily update while we were gone for a week, and you can tell she and her husband really love dogs. Super nice person and very responsive!”

“Emily was wonderful. My doodle has some anxiety about new places. From the pictures Emily sent she looked completely relaxed and comfortable! I appreciate the communication throughout the time we were gone.”

“John and Shannon were very sweet with my Maverick. Gave him lots of love during his stay, and sent me photos to update me on how he was doing!”

“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I could tell they were well taken care of and treated like one of their own. Thank you so much Kirsten and Nicolas!”

“Maria did great with Bear. We were very uneasy about leaving him for the first time and she was so wonderful about sending us pictures and updates. She was so positive even though I’m sure, as a puppy, it wasn’t easy! We were so glad to have Bear have great care while we were gone.”

“Absolutely amazing experience. Great communication, tons of photos. You could tell in the picture how calm and happy my dog was. Laura and Joey followed all my requests/wants/needs perfectly and gave him all his medication. Would recommend to anyone. We got stuck at the airport and they were able to accommodate him for an additional night/day (making a grand total of 17 days). Will use again when going out of town.”

“Alexandria is wonderful! She took incredible care of Lucky, providing frequent updates and photos that kept my mind at ease. It was clear from the start that Lucky was in great hands and felt right at home throughout the entire stay. I highly recommend Alexandria for anyone needing a reliable and attentive sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Raymond
I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Amanda. She watched our 2 dogs this week, 2 separate times that we needed to travel overnight. You can tell she genuinely adores every dog she cares for and she is so great about sending updates and pictures. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for peace of mind when they have to be away from their fur babies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
