I’m home full-time and spend most of my day working with dogs through my business, Unleashed Peaks. Because training and structured care are what I do every day, your dog is never left unattended for long and always part of a calm, consistent routine. Drop-offs and pick-ups are flexible - mornings and early afternoons usually work best, but I’m happy to coordinate around your schedule. Whether your pup is here for daycare or boarding, they’ll get a balance of play, enrichment, rest, and individualized attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

Dogs in my care stay in a calm, structured, and enrichment-based environment that helps them feel secure and relaxed. My home is designed with safety in mind, with separate rest areas, and consistent supervision. We have 5 acres of land. Our fence is in progress right now but we have never had an issue! As a full-time trainer, I understand canine body language and group dynamics deeply. I make sure each dog’s play, rest, and social time match their comfort level. New dogs are introduced slowly and respectfully so they can settle in at their own pace. I keep routines predictable and communication clear so dogs always know what to expect. Whether they are here for a day or an extended stay, every dog is treated like family: safe, understood, and cared for.

Information Amanda C. would like to know about your pet

I want to set every dog up for success, so the more I know, the better. Please share any information about your dog’s daily routine, quirks, triggers, or past experiences that might help me understand them. This includes things like how they handle new people or dogs, if they have any fears, reactivity, medical needs, or resource guarding tendencies. Let me know what your dog loves too. Favorite toys, comfort items, or routines can make their stay feel familiar and positive. My goal is always to create a calm, safe environment that matches your dog’s comfort level and personality.

A typical day

Each day is a balance of structure, enrichment, and rest. Dogs start the morning with outdoor time, a short walk, or play in the yard to get energy out and begin the day calmly. After breakfast, I rotate dogs for training sessions, enrichment games, or relaxed social play depending on their needs and comfort levels. Throughout the day, I focus on calm interactions and clear communication so every dog feels safe and understood. There are scheduled breaks for naps and quiet time to prevent overstimulation and help everyone recharge. Evenings are slower, with light play, structured downtime, and evening potty breaks before bed. My goal is for every dog to end the day relaxed, confident, and happy, whether they are here to learn, play, or just feel at home.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m the owner of Unleashed Peaks, a full-time dog training and behavior coaching business built on calm communication, structure, and trust. Along with training, I also offer structured boarding and daycare in a peaceful, home-style environment where dogs can relax, play, and learn safely. Because I’m a trainer first, everything I do — from playgroups to potty breaks — is intentional. Dogs get enrichment, exercise, and clear routines that build confidence while keeping things fun and low-stress. I follow LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles to make sure every dog feels safe, understood, and respected. I love working with all types of dogs, especially those who need a little extra support or structure while you’re away. Whether your pup is here for the day or a full board and train, they’ll be treated like family. Quirks, goofiness, and all. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy, relaxed, and well-adjusted dog who’s had a fulfilling stay and maybe learned a few new skills along the way.

Great communication and Shadow appeared to be very at ease with Amanda. Seemed to enjoy his stay. Won’t hesitate to leave him with her in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Amanda. She watched our 2 dogs this week, 2 separate times that we needed to travel overnight. You can tell she genuinely adores every dog she cares for and she is so great about sending updates and pictures. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for peace of mind when they have to be away from their fur babies.

Before working with Amanda, Ranger was reactive and unsure of new people, so finding someone to watch him was stressful. Now he absolutely loves staying with her. She understands his personality and keeps things structured but fun, which helps him stay calm and confident. Amanda updates me throughout his stay and even keeps up with his training while we’re gone. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and better than ever. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!
