6. Lauren S.
“Lauren exceeded my expectations with out dogs. She initiated a meet and greet before we left for our trip with our dogs which helped put my mind at ease leaving the dogs in her care. After our first interaction I felt confident she was more than capable of managing our 4 dogs at once. While we were on the trip she was always prompt and reliable. Her photo updates were pure gold. She could add a side hustle of being a pet photographer if she wanted! Overall I was really pleased and will use her again!”

About: 8 years’ experience of dogsitting on top of multiple years of pet ownership; includes housesitting, house maintenance, and care of other pets, including reptiles and rodents. I currently have open availability but can only do drop-in visits on evenings and weekends unless otherwise noted. I am unable to drive until June for medical reasons. Please don't be afraid to ask anyways, as I would love to work something out if possible! Due to my apartment complex not allowing pets, I care for pets at clients’ homes, whether that’s through visits to the home or housesitting for the amount of time needed.

About: Losing my dog Snookie in February 2023 has only made my love grow for dogs! I’m not quite ready for another pet just yet BUT I do want to provide love and care to your pet!! Let me be your dog’s second home…while you rest and enjoy free time! I do work a typical 9-5. I am willing to take in pets once off work for whatever reason you may need me to watch your fur baby! I will also be available all weekend to watch your babies as well! I do stay in a pet friendly apartment complex! My complex has a dog park and plenty of space to walk your fur baby! Don’t let “apartment” fool you I am a very fun and loving person so your fur baby will be very entertained during their stay with me. I do not have any pets as stated due to my fur baby passing February 2023. My mom does have a mini golden doodle if your pet would require a playmate!

About: I tend to have a personal connection with my own dogs and the dogs that I take care of. I have 1 dog of my own, an 8 year old Miniature Schnauzer. My brother is currently living with me, he also has a small mixed dog. Slight nervousness or aggression in your dog is not a problem, as long as it does not interfere with my care of other dogs. As said above, I plan to become a veterinarian. Dogs that are trained to be indoors are especially welcome and will find themselves quite at home. Outdoor dogs will kept in a somewhat sizable backyard. Smaller dogs are preferred for boarding, but any dog is fair for house-sitting. If your dog is an excessive shedder, I may not be the right person for you, as my mother has an allergy to dogs.
