Rehabilitating and caring for large numbers of animals, giving each the best care and love that I possibly could every day! Animal caretaker and ranch hand at Prieto Creek exotic animal reserve for over 2 years, caring for over 200 exotic animals across 400 acres, including 4 large aviaries full of rare and exotic birds, coi ponds and several large stocked lakes. I also worked as an animal trainer at sea world, caring for and training animals featured in the shows. I love bringing joy and caring for any and all types of animals! Caring for animals has been a passionate part of my life since I was a small child, I've always had numerous pets from dogs to ducks, chickens and large turtles! To this day, I give my boys the best care and attention they deserve, maybe more to be honest, they're pretty spoiled but I'm happy to be able to spoil them however I can because they give me unconditional love and bring me such joy everyday! Your pet's care is of the upmost importance! Keeping them happy, healthy, safe and comfortable while you are away is always my priority! I like to stick to your normal set schedule and routine, I believe this keeps your pets calm and comfortable and makes the whole process smoother and easier for everyone. Depending on the booking, I will send "pupdates" throughout my visits letting you know how things are going and pictures of your fur babies. My priority is keeping your pet calm, comfortable and safe. I'm experienced in reading an animal's behavior, body language and mood and this helps me understand how to proceed and adjust their care and my actions accordingly, keeping them happy and comfortable until your return. Every animal is different but building trust and a mutual respect for each other is key to having a successful relationship. Your pet may become stressed or lonely while you're away. If I notice a change in their mood I will try to extend my visits or arrive earlier, giving them more affection, playing with them and their favorite toy or activity and spending quality time with them to help ease their worried mind. Enrichment is a great way to occupy their alone time, toys like kongs, chew toys with their favorite treats or peanut butter inside, squeaky toys and stuffed animals are all great ways to keep your pet occupied and distracted during your absence. My goal is keeping them as happy and healthy as possible until your return! I do notice a huge increase in the level of excitement to see me, get the leash and get going on our adventures! I've had comments from owner's on their pet's improved sleeping habits, better moods, behavior, leash manners and less destruction when left alone! I'm so glad I'm able to bring joy and excitement to someones beloved pet.

Eric T.
“Eric is a fantastic pet sitter / dog walker. He was a coworker of mine at a local animal shelter. He went above and beyond for the shelter dogs, making sure they had the best quality of life. This also extends to his own pets, who are rescues. Dogs love him! I this it's because he has the ability to somehow connect with dogs on a personal level, almost instantly. I highly recommend Eric as a pet sitter for Rover.”
