About: I grew up on a farm with dogs. We had hunting dogs, working dogs, and lap dogs. Sometimes those were all the same. I learned how to connect and work with dogs at an early age and have never been without a dog in my life. Whenever my friends need help, they always ask me first. My current dog is a female goldendoodle that I love very much and I’ll be sure to show your pet the same care! I’m currently in grad school so my schedule is pretty flexible depending on the week. Weekends are usually my most open time, but I’m also free to do walkings and boardings during the week. I have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of space to run around. Inside, there’s plenty of place for your dog and mine and they should get along quite well. My dog does not have a mean bone in her body. If needed, I can separate your pet during feeding etc, as I have a gate to block off sections of the house.

About: Dog care has been a well known trade of mine for over 15 years. I am best with smaller-medium dogs, unless your big dog is a good walker! You can thank my sister’s lab for that last comment LOL. I am studying law, so I have flexible summers. My only job is remote, so I am able to work often. I do not plan to leave the Columbia area for long periods of time this summer. While my home is already occupied by my three cats, I will do whatever you feel necessary to respectfully watch your pets in your home. I offer zoom/skype/FaceTime calls during my stay if you ever want to see how your pet is doing!

About: I’ve been obsessed with dogs my whole life. I spent the last 6 years getting paid to take care of dogs at a doggy daycare, which was a dream!! Now I’m focusing on my other passion, staying home with my own dogs lol I spend my days taking care of my three dogs, from feedings, treat dealing, and play time. They also get let out several times a day for potty breaks, but only for like 5 minutes when it’s 100°, much to the dismay of my beagle who likes to bake. My dogs aren’t high energy so they can do whatever they like. They’re allowed on the furniture, they have free range of the house, and they’re constantly let out for potty breaks and given lots of treats. Same with the cat, he just vibes.

About: Love living in the area, I have always enjoyed spending time outside in all seasons. On any kind of day, I would love to give your family member a walk/run in the neighborhood or at a nearby park/path or whichever they prefer to get some fresh year and exploration through the smells/sights. For the playful pup, I love to run around and play with them until the sun goes down. I have experienced many years with easy and difficult dogs as being a pet owner myself, finding love and care for all creatures all life from dogs all the way to my 3-year-old goldfish. “I met George through some mutual friends at school. I knew if they were friends with him he must be a solid guy. One day, I had an emergency at work and was scrambling to find somebody to help with my dog, Sampson. Sampson is a pit/shepherd mutt and a rescue who is usually very shy and doesn't like strangers. Not in an aggressive way, but is just scared of new people, especially men. George volunteered and after some deliberation I decided I didn't have much choice so I agreed. Apparently that first meeting went well because it wasn't long before George was sending me videos of he and Sampson playing in the backyard. I was so worried because I've never seen Sampson get along with strangers like that, even when I'm around. Once, Sampson got out of the house while I was gone and I couldn't find him when I came home so I called George. I can't believe he even agreed to help because I was bawling my eyes out and was completely hysterical. He got there, though, and I told him what I knew from social media (nextdoor) and George quickly decided what he thought Sampson was doing. Well in about 20 minutes he found Samspon, got him to recall, and brought him home. I tried for 2 hours to get him but everytime I got a glimpse, he would run away! Sampson is my first and only dog and I guess George just knew a lot more than I did because whatever he did worked like a charm. From then on, I used George as my go-to caretaker and Samspon completely adopted him. George basically went all over the Southeast with him and really treated him like his own if I was going to be gone for extended periods of time. He's helped Sampson a lot with his anxieties and my boy is so happy to have a friend like George.”

I am so glad we found Merrell! She checks in with our puppy while we are at work during the day. She packs in a lot during her visits with feeding, letting outside, and making sure our puppy can play and burn some energy. Merrell is attentive, thoughtful, and communicates very well.
This was my first time using Rover so I was a little worried about how it would go but Meghan was so fantastic. My cats are usually shy and timid around new people but she made them feel comfortable and was extremely attentive and communicated very well. I could not be happier with how it went! I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!!

Kaitlin is very thoughtful and has great communication skills! When I was booking, Rover was showing my profile as someone in a different city 90 miles away for some reason and the first sitter I reached out to immediately rejected my request. Kaitlin stood out to me because she took the extra step to confirm my location first. She applied the same amount of care to her drop in visits, providing great updates and pictures! 100% Would recommend to anyone!! I was lucky to find Elizabeth 3 days before a late notice trip to watch my pup. She immediately accepted and came to my home for a meet and greet later that evening. My pup immediately took to her and any worries I had were calmed as soon as we met. She gave thorough check ins complete with pictures and was so easy to communicate with. I returned home to a happy pup with absolutely zero issues, concerns, or complaints. I can strongly say that I would trust Elizabeth with my pets and in my home any day of the week! She is a true animal lover who takes pride in caring for others pets as if they were her own.
