About: I currently work at a animal hospital taking care of dogs and cats! I also volunteered at Indyhumane! All animals are welcomed regardless of species! I currently work full time so my schedule will change weekly. But I will always let you know when I’m available and for how long! I stay on a tight schedule for when things should be done. I also know how to administer medication if need be. I can also send picture updates!

About: I am a retired veterinary groomer with experience working with and loving all ages and sizes of dog. I have a soft spot for chihuahuas (if I’m being honest, ALL toy breeds), shih tzu, pugs, mini doodles, and bulldogs. I have experience with extreme seniors and dogs in hospice care, applying eye, ear, and oral medicines. I am happy to brush dogs and trim their nails while they are with me. I have experience training puppies to enjoy being groomed through rewards, praise, and patience. My own three dogs are two shih tzu and a Heinz 57 ranging from 9-17lbs, all of them are comfortable with and enjoy interacting with other dogs, but respect that some dogs don’t want to play. They are all neutered. I also have a sweet kitty who has her own living space where dogs cannot go in my home and prefers to hang out there when visitors are here. Petcare is my full time job, so I can enjoy my time with your baby! My home is pet friendly, all stairs are blocked by baby gates to prevent any falls. Dogs in my home are allowed on all furniture, have a nice fenced in backyard to play in, and are given potty breaks as often as needed. I am conveniently located near both the Monon and Broad Ripple Park. I am a stay at home dog dad who can adapt my schedule to the needs of the dogs in my care. I am able to taxi pets as needed to and from their home to mine as well. I perform maintenance grooming such as brushing and nail trims/filing on my own in home grooming table with my own tools. I follow owner directions on feeding and toileting. Dogs are allowed on all furniture in my home. Any dog in my home is treated with the same love and attentiveness as my own dogs. I respect that some dogs may need one on one attention without other dogs present and I can provide that if needed.

“Allison was wonderful. She is super fast to respond and is very honest and open and great with communication. Roxy seemed well taken care of and I felt very safe leaving her in her care. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have had about 10 years of experience with animals, whether a fish, a bird, cat or dog. I love dogs more than anything, I have basic knowledge when it comes to training puppies. I am even going to school to become a certified dog trainer. I am currently doing an online program for college, so it will be extremely easy for me to go to your home for your pet. I can even take your animal for walks, drives, and whatever else you'd like me to do. I have a really open schedule. I have chickens, dogs, and cats at home. I have always believed in using positive reinforcement when it comes to any kind of animal. I always have patience with mine and other peoples animals. I believe in treating animals with love and kindness like I would a person.

“Lydia has been such a life saver for me! I recently moved to Indy from out of state and needed to find someone to take my sweet German Shepherd, Arya, on walks and play with her since I’ve been working long hours. Lydia also has a Shepherd, which really puts me at ease since they are such high energy pups! She has now been walking Arya regularly and I’m so happy to have her. She always gives me a report and takes photos of Arya, which just makes me smile and know she’s in great hands. 🙌”

About: I've been a dog lover my whole life, and I've always had pets in my home. I currently have a sassy black cat named Vanessa, and my family recently lost our 15-year-old Beagle, Tobi. I'm hoping to make some new dog friends until we are ready to add a new dog to our family! I've spent a lot of time caring for senior dogs, too, so I am comfortable with pets who have special needs. I work full-time, but I'd love to spend a break or a lunch walking a dog friend. Saturdays and Sundays open for walking and play time with your animals! I will be diligent at following any special directions you leave for your pet. I am also very mindful of people's spaces, and I will leave your home as clean as (if not cleaner than) I found it!

“Gianna is amazing! She is wonderful at communicating and sends so many awesome pictures of my baby! I definitely recommend booking with her, you will not be disappointed!”

About: I am both a dog mom and a cat mom, and a lifelong animal lover. I have many years of pet care experience. Making animals happy is what makes me happy :) I have administered medicine to my own senior cats and dogs, and I am comfortable with oral pet medicine administration. I have loved many small reactive dogs and understand the tact they sometimes require. During drop-in visits, I will spend quality time with your baby, playing, cuddling, or just hanging out if that’s the vibe. During walks, I will let your buddy sniff to their hearts content. Ask me about plant sitting. I look forward to meeting your pets! I am a big homebody and I work evenings, so I am available most days for dog walking and drop in pet care. I am the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends, and I enjoy animal care so much I decided to go pro! I will treat your baby with love and care. I will respect any and all special instructions given. I’ll go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels spoiled when you’re away! I typically schedule meet and greets with new clients to ensure I’m prepared to provide your baby with the best care possible.

About: Long term experience in house / dog sitting. I have used rover as an aid to meet wonderful new people, maintain professionalism and to care for new pet friends! Very hands on during play time, puppy potty training and daily exercise! I have two pups of my own so i’m passionate about giving low costs to those who also have double the fun! Rover is my full time job, dependability is a must when looking for your next sitter. I have the flexible schedule you are looking for! Having social interaction while you are away is extremely important, not only for you but also for their mental health. Giving lots of attention and structure while you are away will help keep them calm and having fun! Many photos will be provided.

About: I have had dogs my whole life! I truly believe dogs are a sole reason for a lot of happiness. I have had family dogs but my own for over 5 years now. I clean up after my dog, multiple walks a day to keep her healthy. I am super excited to meet your pup! I am looking for walking opportunities in the mornings due to working a hotel job! I am flexible if I have time off also! I look forward to working with your pets! I feed my dog healthy, walk her twice or more a day, clean up after the pets, and show them all the love they deserve!

About: I've had dogs most of my life from a small pug to a lab/chow chow mix and Portuguese water dog. Right now I have two fur babies of my own, Charlie a 12 lb toxirn and Maxwell a 40 lb cocker spaniel. I love spoiling my dogs and I'd can come spoil yours while you're away, too! I'm an expert in getting dogs to take their medicine and adapting play or walks to your pup's needs. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs, so I always watch over them to make sure they're not overdoing it. I've raised Maxwell from a puppy, so I can play and take care of them also. :) I'd be happy to meet you and your pup before the service so we can make sure everyone is comfortable ahead of time. Can't wait to meet you & your pup! My boys walk 3-4 times per day and I have a flexible work schedule, so I can be accommodating for your needs. I have more availability on the weekends as well. My dogs wouldn't do well with having other dogs in our home, but I can come to yours! Your home is your domain and your dog's safe space, so I'll make sure before the first visit I know what rules and dos/don'ts you have and follow them to a tee. My job is to make sure you don't have to worry about anything while you're out, especially your pet's safety.

About: I’ve cared for pets since before I had a driver’s license, starting with walking which ultimately turned into overnight care. I love to see dogs and really all animals happy and well cared for. I love giving praise, talking to them sweetly, and showing them the attention they deserve. Walking, playtime, and even naps on the couch are great ways to bond with puppers. I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications, changing diapers and bandages, and special diets. I can lift dogs up to 50 lbs. I am a full time nanny of over a decade with a lot of day time availability during the school year from August to May. Drop-in visits and walks would be a great way for me to see more doggos during the day and get more exercise :) With overnight stays, I provide house sitting services like mail & trash with lots of walks, playtime, and approved outings for your furry friends. I ask that I be able to work around my primary job but can still offer check ins every 3 hours for puppies and every 4-6 hours for adult dogs. I am respectful of agreed upon instructions and will care for all animals to the best of my ability. I feel animals are worthy of love and respect and safety.

“Chris is the only person I trust with my dogs! If they can't be with me, I want them with him. He has cared for my current dogs as well as my dogs who have passed on, the gentleness, attentiveness, and attention to detail with my extreme seniors is extraordinary. This gives me peace of mind to be away from them, knowing he cares just as much as I do. He accommodates them so they don't have to jump up or down from furniture as well as gives oral, eye, and ear medications on a schedule, which they have needed towards the end of their lives. I cannot reccomend him highly enough!”

Katherine K.Star Sitter
“Katie is absolutely wonderful!! We were lucky enough to hire her 10 years ago when we needed a nanny after our second child was born, and we have been so grateful for her ever since. She is incredibly responsible, reliable, and we trust her completely with everything. When she came to work for us, we had a shy kitty who was usually reserved around new people - Alice the Cat took to Katie right away! 4 years ago, we adopted a rescue pup…who also fell in love with Katie immediately the first time they met. And Katie has been incredible with her from day one! She truly is a gem of a person, and anyone who spends any time at all with her will agree! Rover’s clients will be so lucky to have her in their (and their pets’) lives!”

I just gotta post another great review! Kelsey is always the best with my doggies. I trust her to come into my home when I’m gone, get the doggies and go for a walk and go to the park and put them safely back! That says a lot and I am so happy with Kelsey being our regular walker when I need somebody.😁😁😁
