About: I’ve cared for pets since before I had a driver’s license, starting with walking which ultimately turned into overnight care. I love to see dogs and really all animals happy and well cared for. I love giving praise, talking to them sweetly, and showing them the attention they deserve. Walking, playtime, and even naps on the couch are great ways to bond with puppers. I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications, changing diapers and bandages, and special diets. I can lift dogs up to 50 lbs. I am a full time nanny of over a decade with a lot of day time availability during the school year from August to May. Drop-in visits and walks would be a great way for me to see more doggos during the day and get more exercise :) With overnight stays, I provide house sitting services like mail & trash with lots of walks, playtime, and approved outings for your furry friends. I ask that I be able to work around my primary job but can still offer check ins every 3 hours for puppies and every 4-6 hours for adult dogs. I am respectful of agreed upon instructions and will care for all animals to the best of my ability. I feel animals are worthy of love and respect and safety.

“Amazing as always. My dog was excited to go inside the second we got to her house & looked like she was extremely happy when I came to pick her up. Annie was a bit flexible with time, which was super helpful. I was also happy to see the dogs interacting.”

“We left our Dalmatian, Gracie, with Precious and Thomas for a full week while we were on a family vacation to North Carolina, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, they were wonderful. Gracie was clearly well cared for—she was happy, healthy, well fed, and in great spirits when we picked her up. It gave us real peace of mind to know she was in such capable and loving hands while we were away. I would absolutely recommend Precious and Thomas to anyone looking for responsible and caring pet sitters. They treated Gracie like family, and we are so grateful!”

“Tyler was wonderful with our dog Hallie! He was so kind to send pictures and let us know that she was doing great! Their dog Oakley was so sweet and Hallie made a new friend! Thank you so very much!”

About: We are an energetic family with four boys ages 5-12 who love to play! If you are looking for a safe space for your dog(s) to receive lots of love, play, belly rubs, and time outside, we would love the opportunity to share our home with your pet! We are a homeschooling family, so I am home much of the time and available to allow your pet to take frequent potty breaks and have plenty of time to play and exercise. If your dogs love kids and are eager to play, our loving family and home are a fantastic solution! We have a large fenced-in backyard (6ft. privacy fence) with plenty of room to run and chase tennis balls. Our home is comfortable and inviting. Dogs are allowed to roam on the main level and in the basement but are not permitted upstairs in the bedrooms. Well-trained pets are free to roam whenever we are out of the home during the day. Our younger children still wake up during the night, so in order to prevent any "scares" or barking, dogs must be crated at night. Owners must provide the crate. Dogs are given a final potty break around 10PM, crated, and then released from their crate around 6:30 AM and immediately taken outside to use the bathroom, then free to roam and play for the duration of the day. Whenever a dog shows any signs of wanting to go outside, they are immediately let out. If our high-energy environment becomes overwhelming for your pet, I can offer a safe, quiet space for rest. Dogs who would be a good fit in our home: -can easily tolerate (and NOT dominate) young children -love to play -enjoy lots of run time/exercise -enjoy (and don't shy away from) physical affection (i.e. belly rubs, head scratches, fully body hugs) - easily sleep in a crate at night -are not bothered by general kid energy (yelling, running, loud noises) -are not highly anxious or territorial or aggressive toward kids of any age in any way -do not chew on strewn toys, furniture, stuffed animals, etc. All feeding and any medication instructions will be strictly followed. I will provide regular updates and photos of your pet's stay with us so that you can continue to feel connected even while away.

“Amanda is the best! Second time going to her and she welcomed my dog with genuine care and love as if it was his home! 100/10 recommend her for any person looking for a sitter for their dog.”

Katherine K.Star Sitter
“Katie is absolutely wonderful!! We were lucky enough to hire her 10 years ago when we needed a nanny after our second child was born, and we have been so grateful for her ever since. She is incredibly responsible, reliable, and we trust her completely with everything. When she came to work for us, we had a shy kitty who was usually reserved around new people - Alice the Cat took to Katie right away! 4 years ago, we adopted a rescue pup…who also fell in love with Katie immediately the first time they met. And Katie has been incredible with her from day one! She truly is a gem of a person, and anyone who spends any time at all with her will agree! Rover’s clients will be so lucky to have her in their (and their pets’) lives!”

Ravenswood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Holli and Susan took care of Graham as if he were their own! They sent the cutest pictures and kept in touch with me throughout the entire weekend. I always get nervous leaving my dog with someone new, but it was such a relief not to have that constant worry. What I appreciated most is that Graham wasn’t boarded with other dogs during his stay — it made all the difference. Highly recommend

We recently had Emily watch our two dogs while we were out of town, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease. She welcomed our pups into her home like family and took such wonderful care of them the entire time we were away. Knowing our dogs were safe, loved, and in a clean, comfortable home made it so much easier to enjoy our trip. We’re so thankful to have found such a kind, reliable, and experienced sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future!
