“Lindsey, Leland, and their kids took amazing care of our 13-year-old Golden Retriever, Callie. She had injured her back leg about a month before her stay, and they were incredibly thoughtful in managing her needs. They made sure she got all her medications and adjusted her walks based on what she could handle. I’m pretty sure Callie felt like she was at a spa—between the gentle attention, extra brushing, and love from their three wonderful kids, she was clearly in great hands. I accidentally mixed up the pickup date by a day, but Lindsey and Leland were incredibly accommodating and kept Callie that extra day without hesitation. I was so relieved, knowing she wouldn’t have to be shuffled to a different home just for one night. Throughout her stay, they regularly updated us with photos—Callie lounging in the grass, out on a walk, or happily curled up in someone’s lap. The peace of mind they gave us was priceless. If I could give Lindsey and Leland six stars, or more, I absolutely would. They went above and beyond in every way.”

“This is the second time we’ve had Leah look after our sweet girl and she was so accommodating and flexible with drop off and pick up! She communicated well during the stay and sent pic updates as well. We felt comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands!”

“This was Kimber’s first stay with a Rover (or anyone other than my parents) and I was so nervous about leaving her because, but Ashley sent me so many great updates and photos and worked really hard to get Kimber to be comfortable! Kimber was so well loved while she was there I wouldn’t hesitate to leave her there again!”

“Velma is the sweetest and takes wonderful care of our girl. She's very flexible and communicates well. We always have peace of mind Tila is getting all the love and attention she requires. Thanks so much Velma!”

“Rebecca was great! From meet and greet to pick up we’d definitely recommend. Our pup was tired and happy when he got home from his weekend with her. She gave us peace of mind by sending photo updates and was easy to work with for pick up and drop off. Her place is a doggy heaven, lots of space and friends to explore it with.”

“Always a lovely stay for our little Birdie with Teri and her family. We had some travel issues coming home and she was very accommodating and made a stressful situation, much less so.”

“This was the first time our 8 year old lab had been boarded. We were all a little nervous. However, Lily settled right in. Carolyn and Sarah were so welcoming and took such good care of her and gave her so many snuggles she seemed reluctant to leave. They reassured us by sending regular updates and pictures. I also appreciated their flexibility when our plans and dayes had to be tweaked. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend them.?”

“Heather is ohenomenal. She basically adopts my dog for three days. Kept me informed and at ease. A time of great strain became bearable because of her care for my Emma. I will use her service again!”

“Kara was absolutely AMAZING! Could not recommend her enough. She sent multiple updates with wonderful pictures, and communicated very very well. Both of our dogs felt so loved and cared for. She is so sweet and has a genuine heart 💗 thank you again Kara! Tater and Maggie miss you already.”

“Wendy's place was perfect for my 2 pups. It is clean and beautiful. They were well taking care of and my puppy even got some extra training. We would book again and highly recommend.”

“Shaunett is reliably the most wonderful person to have in your contacts when you need someone to care for your dog! She's a great communicator - very thorough at drop off to make sure she knows everything she might need to know to care for your pup, and regular with updates along the way. Super responsive, eager to help, and genuinely loves what she does. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you Shaunett!”

“Whenever my dog goes to Sherin, she really treats her like one of the family. I trust her, and love how close she is to our home. I will definitely use her agin to board my dog!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
