I was in a tough spot when my Australian Shepherd named Wendle came down with a cough that needed treated with antibiotics and steroids 2 days before I was scheduled to leave the country on vacation for 10 days. With the alternative being to leave him in isolation at boarding for the entire time or canceling the trip, I was scrambling to find a sitter last minute and we really lucked out connecting with Emily here. She was amazing with Wendle, treating him as her own and I know he loved every minute of his own vacation with her. Emily kept me updated with detailed messages and pictures of Wendle during my trip and had no issues with giving him his medication and taking him on walks and giving him all the attention he needed. I can’t thank her enough for taking in Wendle at the last minute and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter in the future.”

About: I've been caring for and loving dogs for over 30 years, including dogs of all sizes and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I understand that every pup has unique needs and deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home. I'm comfortable caring for puppies and senior dogs, following special diets and routines, and administering medication. My experience includes caring for my previous dog, Tucker who was diagnosed with thyroid carcinoma. I supported him through a two-year cancer battle, administering his prescribed chemotherapy medication regimen daily. I also had a senior dog, Maggie Moo that I cared for through incontinence and end-of-life care, learning firsthand the importance of patience, compassion, and helping pets maintain their comfort and dignity through every stage of life. I enjoy everything from walks and outdoor play to quiet companionship and couch cuddles. I treat every dog like family and prioritize their safety, happiness, and comfort. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while your best friend is in my care! I work from home some days and in the office (15 min away) on others, so my availability varies but is flexible throughout the week. I'm available for pet care during evenings and weekends, and I can accommodate daytime care depending on my work schedule. I make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, exercise, outdoor time, and affection while keeping each dog's routine as consistent as possible. I plan bookings around my schedule to ensure every pup receives safe, attentive, and loving care. My home features a large, fenced backyard with plenty of room to explore, and my own dog loves to play with other dogs. I have multiple dog beds throughout the house and dogs are welcome on the furniture. I believe in making every pet feel comfortable and at home while prioritizing their safety and well-being. I follow each pet's routine, provide plenty of attention and affection, and make sure introductions are handled carefully. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their space and follow the owner's instructions to keep their pet's routine consistent and stress-free. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your furry family member is in loving, dependable hands. I have two kids under 8 years old who love dogs. I have my kids part-time so I may also be able to accommodate dogs who are not tolerant of kids. I have raised food and water dishes to accommodate larger dogs. I also live within walking distance, approximately a half mile from a dog park if your pup likes to social scene.

“Fernanda and Bruno (and their little girl) were wonderful hosts for my 2 puppies. One is 3 months and the other is 9 months and I was worried leaving them so soon. Fernanda made me comfortable by sending photos and continually checking in. They were also put on some medications last week (awful timing to leave them) and she administered their medication and eased my nerves about the situation. This is my first time using rover and I’m so so grateful they were amazing to my pups!🐶”
