About: Ive been taking care of dogs since I was little, growing up I had a German shepherd and a Labrador retriever who I walked, bathed and fed as part of my chores growing up. Currently I own a 1 year old golden retriever named Sokka who a very high energy dog so I have lots of experience working with breeds that are high energy. I work as an after school program teacher for elementary school kids so I’m available in the mornings and afternoons before 1pm and in the evenings after 6pm. When it comes to dog walking I have numerous ways of ensuring that your furry friend is safe. I keep them on leash especially in areas where there’s a lot of other dogs. I bring water and a collapsible bowl so they’re staying hydrated. And depending on how long the walk is I’ll even bring some kibble for them.

“I highly recommend Whitney! She was the perfect pet sitter for our two cats! Whitney communicated each day and sent photos! She was very respectful of our home and took care great care of our cats! I will definitely call on Whitney for future pet sitting needs!”

Ive also distributed several different medications to pets of my own. And I truly treat my pets I would family, making sure they have walks daily, good/high quality homemade food, and ensure they are/feel very loved. My oldest dog is 13 so I have experience with elderly doggies too. Im working very minimal days currently so I have free time to care for your animals. I highly enjoy hiking and/or walking and love to do lots of outdoor activities specially with my dog. I am also available on weekends after 2pm if needed. I would highly prefer taking the animal out and about on a walk, hike, etc or caring for the pet in clients home. My doggies at home are not friendly with other dogs and would rather not risk it. I am a highly trustworthy person and am looking for the best interest of your pets.

About: I have always been the go to person when it comes to pet sitting and dog walking. I have had my own reactive dog for the last 6 years and attend training classes with her every week. Which has helped me learn even more skills when it comes to dog care. I currently only do this. So my schedule is very open. I take my own dog out to play early in the morning because of the summer heat. So once I’ve taken care of mine, I am free! I am comfortable coming to your home. I can either play with your dog at your house, or take them out on a walk. I also love cats and have one of my own. So I am willing to check on cats, give medicine, clean litter boxes, and play.

About: I have cared for animals for five decades. I have had mostly dogs and cats but have also cared for hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, turtles, lizards, snakes, tarantulas, parakeets, aquarium and pond fish, chickens, ducks, geese, goats, ponies, horses, and even injured wild baby squirrels and baby birds. As a veterinary receptionist, I was trained as a backroom assistant to prepare medication, administer injections and assist with minor procedures and surgeries. I have had as many as nine cats and three dogs at the same time, so know how to multitask and prioritize needs. I am confident that I could fit the necessary care into my schedule. I have never had a problem with cleaning up after myself and my critters. I strive to have animals feel safe in their environments and secure in my presence. I believe that pets are special members of the family. I have a kind of grandma personality and enjoy quiet snuggle moments with elder, lonely and mellow pets as much as learning their favorite activities.

“Jocelyn was so helpful in watching our chickens while we were out of town! She was prompt, sent updates with pictures, and did more than we asked for like giving them treats. Thank you Jocelyn!! Would recommend.”

At home I have a chocolate lab that always needs to be running around or catching a frisbee, so I know that some dogs need more exercise than others and I will watch out if I see them getting too tired. Now at 21 years old I have been doing this for around 7 years, I have experience with puppies, seniors, administering medications, walks, crate & leash training, and being able to calm a stressful situation. I also posses a special ability to build trust and bond with animals quickly. I love them like they're my own. Pet care is one of my top priorities. We have a lot of animals at home and we always take care of them first and move on with the day from there. When I am watching a clients dog(s), I try to stick to the schedule they normally have the dog(s) on which means my day and the things I chose to do can be done in the remaining time slots. It is important to have routine and structutre. I will always be respectful of the client, their space, and of course their animals. I try to provide a safe, welcoming, and loving energy at all times. Understanding and meeting the needs of the pets is key, but also watching their behavior, sticking to the routine, and stimulating their brains is also all very important.

“Destannie did a great job with my puppy. She made sure Lucy got to go for a nice walk while I was away. She also spent time with Lucy letting her play and run around. I really appreciated her help.”

“Kiersten is a very good and reliable dog walker. My dog Klay is still learning on the leash and has a tendency to pull. Kiersten exudes a great amount of patience with him, giving him training tips and tidbits along the way. I have noticed improvement in his walking. I was nervous to let someone walk my dog but kiersten has proven extremely responsible and I am so happy that I made the decision to have her walk Klay. Klay gets excited every time he sees her and you can tell she thoroughly enjoys spending time with him.”

Athena C.
“Congratulations on choosing Athena ... I have an established (10 years in area) pet sitting & training business with a small client list. I utilize Athena's services when I need an extra body, and she is available. She has been excellent with all the dogs and homes. Some of the pets include a 2-year-old 120# bully/mastiff and her sidekick 12-year-old terrier (with total attitude), a 4# 15-year-old teacup Chihuahua (totally spoiled), an 8-year-old Rat Terrier/Jack Russell, an assortment of terriers in one home (3, with 2 in diapers), as well as a 14-year-old 120# aggressively reactive Shepard/mix. I also have four dogs, 3 border collies (one is deaf) and a Pit/Lab and a parrot. Athena house/pet sits for me as well. She consistently follows client specific directions and instructions on house, pet and yard care, to the letter. My policy, which Athena follows without any hesitation ... "you only know I was there because your pets are happy, well cared for and relaxed, stress free. You won't find a mess in your home upon your return". I trust her to show up, do the feedings, love and pet them, keep them safe and happy, walk them when necessary, and to be 100% reliable! And oh .. do pets love her!”

Destannie R.

Kiara G.
“I am thrilled to share my experience with Kiara as a dog sitter for my beloved dog, Barry. From the moment we met, it was clear that Kiara is incredibly responsible and trustworthy. She not only took excellent care of Barry but treated him as if he were her own. Her genuine love and affection for Barry were evident, and it was this bond that made me feel completely at ease leaving him in her care. Kiara's dedication and attention to detail ensured that Barry was always happy and well-cared for. Her professionalism and compassion are truly commendable, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and loving dog sitter.”
