About: I have had lots of experience caring for all different types of pets. I currently work with horses, cows, donkeys, and a zebra. I have volunteered for Southampton Animal Shelter for over ten years and have logged over 400 hours. I currently have ten dogs as well as five cats of numerous sizes, so I will be able to care for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am currently in high school until June 13, which means I am only able to sit weekdays after 2:30 until then. During the summer I will be free before 2:30. I currently have dogs with very specific medications and routines that are administered daily. I am fully used to caring for animals that need thorough attention and ensuring their needs are met.

About: For as long as I can remember, my life has been filled with companionship of dogs and cats- making pets an integral part of my life. In more recent years, my love for pets has transferred into a professional endeavor through pet sitting! I am an experienced dog watcher and have worked with many dogs of all ages and temperaments- so senior dogs or nervous dogs are no trouble! I am able to cater to your pets’ needs exactly and will always do my very best to make them feel as loved as possible. I have experience with dietary restrictions, special diets, giving dogs medication, basic grooming [bathing/brushing], walking/exercise, crates, etc. My family dog is a Boxer and she is a high energy and loving pup! Having my own dog watched has taught me the importance of communication with owners, and so it is one of my top priorities to maintain regular communication with you & provide updates:) I’m a pre-dental student at the College of Charleston, so anytime I am not in class I’m available to be with your pet! After May 1st I will be in New York and available a lot more! I do not offer pet care in my own home, but when in client’s homes it is helpful for me to get as much information as possible to ensure the utmost safety. I am extremely vigilant of maintaining a secure environment (no leaving open doors/windows ever) and safe environment (no taking anything in that can be harmful to pets, and making sure they do not have access to things in the house they should not). I like to have a plan in place with clients in case of emergencies, because it is always better to be safe! Respecting clients homes is extremely important to me and I will always be where your pet is. On the day to day- to care for a pet I try to keep their routine as close to their normal as possible. Keeping a comfortable space with toys and sticking to a regular feeding/walk schedule I have found to be extremely beneficial!

Norah R.
“I met Norah about 15 years ago, when we both started volunteering at the local animal shelter cattery. I was impressed with how she interacted with even the most aloof and frightened cats. We became friends, and she has been pet sitting all of my cats for the last 15 years whenever I travel. She is dependable, reliable and trustworthy. I never worry about them when I am away, since I know Norah will take excellent care of them. I do not own a dog, but I have seen how wonderful she is with dogs. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter or dogwalker. She is the best.”

“Marianne would provide safe, caring and loving care for your pet. She is one of the most responsible people I know and having had her care for my dog I can attest to the fact how easy she made it for me to go away. The photo's and videos she sent daily made my day. Her dog Smokey was a very lucky pup to have her as a mom. She is a terrific human being and I can't say enough about how responsible she is. My dog recently passed but when I get a new one there is no one else I would entrust them with.”

Odalis N.
“Odalis is a wonderful pet sitter. Anytime we've left our dog with her, he has been so excited to see her. Odalis is a great communicator, sending us pictures of our dog throughout his stay, and letting us know how he's doing. He always looks happy anytime he knows we're on the way to Odalis' place, so I know he's in good hands.”

Ava R.
“Ava was an absolutely amazing dog sitter for our senior dog Angel while we were in Hawaii! She went above and beyond to make sure every accommodation was made to keep her comfortable, whether it was sticking to her medication schedule, giving that extra attention during her slower walks, and preparing Angel’s meals special! Ava’s genuine love for animals truly shines through and she kept us updated with so many sweet pictures and messages, which gave us SUCH peace of mind so we could really enjoy our trip. When we got back, Angel was so happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for, which speaks volumes about Ava’s incredible care and attention!! If you’re looking for a sitter who is trustworthy, great at the job and exceptionally kind, Ava is the one! We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again—your pets will be in the best hands!”
