“Very thorough job!! Will definitely use again!”

About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than one week I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.

“My 2 kitties received excellent care during my recent trip. Tabatha kept them fed, watered, and entertained- she even brought in packages that were delivered! She is a marvelous cat sitter and I do not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Five stars!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have spent years caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors. I also have some light training experience. I’m a night owl but can be up early too, so I’m happy to take on late night or early morning pet care as needed. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of care needs. I’m calm, confident, and attentive with animals, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I'm a mature, patient, and responsible woman with an enthusiastic love for animals. I would be honored if you you'd allow me to put my years of responsibility and experience to use with your fur family! I have a very flexible schedule and a huge heart. Pets have given me so much for so little in exchange. I have all the time and energy for the doggos that need it! I have a two-story townhouse with a fenced-in yard. We have a dog run in our gated community and several parks close by for sniffing exploration.

About: I'll take your dog out for some fun and enriching exercise while peacefully training them to calmly follow along at your side with no pulling, whining, or reacting! I am a dog trainer, field biologist, and academic coach driven to lead people towards a mutually fulfilling life with their dogs, and to share my knowledge and wonder of nature to promote stewardship and love for all sentient beings. I have cared for family pets (cats, dogs, fish, rodents, rabbits, etc) throughout my life, and I have performed extensive animal husbandry during my PhD in Animal Behavior and Ecology (I have even trained and rehabbed hummingbirds!). I began formally dog walking and training in January 2025 and have helped each of my clients transform their relationships with their dogs by learning how to efficiently and peacefully communicate. I hope to: 1) refresh your dog's basic obedience and floppy leash walking skills; 2) help you be aware of your dog's body language, and your own habits; and 3) empower you to become the leader your dog needs! I am happy to offer free nail checks and trimming! 1% of all proceeds will go to Blackhat Humane Society, a Navajo Nation rescue/ foster organization where I adopted my service dog Louie from! I am currently based in Albuquerque, and I have a very flexible work and life schedule, so I can likely accommodate requests for walks at any time and frequency! I have an extensive experience house and pet (and plant!) sitting for family and friends, and I always treat clients' dogs and homes with utmost respect. I am currently unable to host pets in my home.

About: Dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented—I take time to understand your dog’s unique needs to ensure they feel secure and loved while you’re gone. There’s nothing better than to come home to a happy, tail wagging dog. I am currently a grad student at the University of New Mexico. Pet sitting is something I look forward to each week to take my mind off of all my studies. I enjoy spending time with pets to relieve their stress as well as mine. I take pride in providing respectful, attentive care in your home. Keeping your pet comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their routine, giving them affection, exercise, and calm companionship. I treat every home with the same care I would my own, ensuring everything is clean, secure, and just as you left it.

“Thanks for taking care of Charlie and Pickles for us!”

About: I love animals and have loved them my entire life. I believe that animals can touch the parts of our hearts that no human can. I love walking dogs and enjoy taking them out to explore the great outdoors. Every pet has a personality that is uniquely their own and discovering each and every one is a joy. I am willing to do whatever it takes to keep your pet healthy and happy until you return. Here's a link of an example of a typical walk. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/Vzk8zN8pcX0 My availability is fairly open so that I will be able to give quality care to your pet. About: I've dog-sat since I was in high school and I absolutely love all animals! My entire life I have been surrounded by dogs. I love meeting animals and discovering their unique personalities and individual needs! I am happy and willing to work to gain your pet's trust I'm currently pursuing an engineering degree at Colorado State but I'm home in Albuquerque working part time for the summer. Kimberly L.
“Hello! I have two four-legged girls that I love very much. I am a picky dog mom who always wants the best for them, as you do for yours. I occasionally have to go out of town and want to be sure they are well cared for. I lost my last caregiver, so I did lots of research in my community and had good reports on Kimberly. She certainly lived up to her recommendations, and perhaps even exceeded them. She understands dogs, and after meeting my pitties, she was happy to care for them. We arranged for check-in calls, she took them for walks and played with them. I had a special request for certain rubs and massages, and it was no problem. When I picked up my girls, they were happy, clean, and energetic. I think you can be confident in Kimberly's care for your fur babies.”

Erich E.Star Sitter
“We have a 2.5 year old Husky-Australian Cattle Dog mix with more energy than she knows what to do with. While she is a smart, gentle, happy, and kind pup, she definitely has a hard time on walks… she goes into sled pulling mode. We’ve struggled with it for about a year and a half and kid you not - in 2 sessions with Erich, she suddenly knew how to stick by our side. He was patient with our dog and he taught us the skills and tactics to keep her by our side on walks so that she listens and obeys us, even when Erich isn’t there. We’re very grateful for Erich’s help and have talked about how we think he might be a dog whisperer!! Highly recommend working with Erich!”

Kaden P.
“Kaden is one of the most responsible and easy going young men I have met. He has a great relaxed personality that is a perfect fit for working with pets (and kids too). He was always great with our dogs. I think They loved him as much as us. 😁. I highly recommend Kaden without any reservations.”

Avonelle L.
“My mother has 6 dogs and is in her seventies. Avonelle was very caring and helpful and walked the dogs just about every morning and was able to give my mother a break. The dogs loved every minute especially Lila and her son Moses. Moses would literally playfully try to take the leash out of her hand, he was so excited! Afterwards the dogs would be tired, but happy. I would highly recommend her to any pet parents.”
