About: I have been working as a vet tech in NOVA for 3.5 years and love spending time with animals. Daily i get to love and treat animals at the hospital, but rarely get time to just play/care for them without them being afraid of the lady in the scrubs! I would be happy to take care of your fur babies for you! I have a 3 year old Tabby cat named Willow! I love her very much but she does not like other animals. I would love to have a dog of my own someday when I have more space for them. I am currently working as a vet tech but I am also in school studying bioengineering part time. I am hoping with my animal health knowledge and experience, this will allow me a perfect alternate income to assist with school! I am very cautious with all pets, especially ones in my care. I typically do not let dogs off leash unless i know they are in a contained area like a fenced in backyard where they are safe. I also prefer not to use retractable leashes so I have more control over the pet in case of emergency. I am cautious about what they should/shouldn't be sneaking into their mouths throughout the day and have the knowledge and resources to assist in any unforeseen situations. I personally do not have a dog at the moment due to financials, but I do have a snuggly 3 year old tabby cat named Willow. She is very friendly with people but unfortunately we have not figured out how to make her friendly to other animals! All care would have to be provided outside of my home due to this.

About: I have taken care of animals (horses, chickens, cats, dogs, fish, alpacas, pigs, etc.) at multiple houses and farms. I was always the one people would turn to when it came to taking care of their household of animals when they were away. I am in the process of becoming a dog trainer as well as groomer! I've had experience with giving animals shots, pills and liquid medication as well as care after surgeries. Since I am self employed that gives me more open time to play, walk and care for the animals. Currently I own 2 cats and 2 dogs that live with me, I will need a few times a day to let them out a couple times a day. In my home I have a dedicated animal room that has beds, crates, a dog couch, lots of sunlight and a deck for the dogs to hang out on. I also have a pen that I can use if there are dogs or puppies that cannot hold their bladder and have frequent accidents. Blankets and toys galore for the dogs anytime they need them. There is a large yard for the dogs to roam around in or hiking areas for us to walk on. In your home I will make sure to take care of your lovely pet as I would with any of mine! Cuddles and snuggles as well as springs and tug-of-war, whatever activity the animals need to get their energy out as well as keeping them feeling safe and happy. The directions given to me from you will be taken to heart. Feeding, walking and sleeping schedules will be upheld to a T.

About: I started my animal care journey at a daycare/ boarding facility, then worked as a companion animal leader at 2 different petco locations for 3 years, now I am a certified veterinary assistant and have over 3,000 hours working in a vet hospital. I’m currently working full time 4 days a week which gives me plenty of time to play with your fur babies!! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m completely open on weekends! I will be able to meet all of the client’s requirements when it comes to helping them out inside their house. Respecting their wants and needs and doing everything in my power to make my service a rememberable time.

About: I am a college student looking for extra income this summer. I pride myself on being a reliable communicator, a punctual employee, and having a heart for all furry friend- big and small! I have experience working with dogs of all ages, puppies through elderly! I’m currently working as a waitress part-time, typically beginning at 3:00pm. On days I do work, which is typically weekends, I am always home by 10:30-11:00pm. My mornings are always completely open, and I am an early riser! In my home, our priority was to never (if not rarely) be left home alone for more than 3 hours. This is a goal I implement in my pet-care as well. Furthermore, when it comes to walk, I understand this is some pets best part of their day! It is my goal to make it as stress-free, fun, and exciting as possible!

About: I've been taking care of various dogs for years. Love them all big to small. I have a sweet GSD named Zeus who gets along with other dogs. My dog room is perfect for pets to go in and out all day. Prefer dogs who can't/won't jump a 4.5 foot fence. I love dogs and care for them with a joy that is infectious. I've taken care of puppies and senior dogs who need medicine a few times a day. I was doing this for free for friends so i figured why not do more. I live near hiking trails and parks so I walk my dog twice daily in am and pm and have many dogs beds for them to loaf on. I've taken care of 100 lb rottweilers to 25 lb dachshund mixes.

“We were able to relax while we were on vacation, knowing Alexandra was checking in on our “kids” each day. She was perfect and so sweet! They love her maybe more than us now ?”

I am a huge animal lover and love caring for many different types of animals. I am currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule to fit in pet-care and checkins during the week. I am willing to work within your availability to make pet-care work for you. I am quick and responsive with requests and questions if you need to contact me at any point, I am currently working to provide pet-care and dog walking. I prefer to follow the preferences of the homeowner for how and where they would like to care for their pet. “Rachel did any amazing job caring for our senior dog Lucy! She sent pictures with every check in which made it easy to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our Furry family member was in excellent hands!”

“Meagan is very responsive especially with short notice. She took care of all the specific needs of both our dog and cat while we were out last minute. She was able to help calm our dog during fireworks and made sure they were feeling safe before she left. She sent many pictures and deeply cares about our pets as she would her own. Shes fantastic and I highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of all sorts of animals, learning their needs and languages. Friends and family have entrusted their pets to me to walk, feed, bathe, and love. A home isn't complete without a pet. I have a cat who I play with daily, feed, clean her litter box, and give skritches. I give her puzzles and new toys so she doesn't get bored. She's my little buddy, my companion, my playmate. My life would be poorer for not having her. I cannot care for others' pets in my home but I can go to others' homes and care for their pets. I make sure their basic needs are taken care of then get to know their personalities and play with them. Having grown up on a farm, I love all animals.

About: Hi! My name is Aberley Sommers. I’m a college freshman currently taking online classes, which allows me a very flexible schedule to care for your pets. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and started pet sitting at a young age, gaining experience with many different breeds, temperaments, and special care needs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and while my own pup is currently living with my parents, this gives me the perfect opportunity to give your pets the same love, attention, and care I would give my own. You can count on me to be reliable, responsible, and fully dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared for. Since I’m currently completing my college courses online, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to easily work pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I’m able to plan my schoolwork around my pet care commitments, giving me plenty of time and focus for each visit or walk. My daily routine often includes early morning or afternoon walks, playtime, feedings, and lots of one-on-one attention. This flexibility allows me to be fully present for your pets and adapt to their unique schedules and needs, whether it’s regular walks or drop ins. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I always make sure to follow the pet’s regular routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I take time to learn each pet’s specific needs whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, favorite toys, or calming routines. I always give plenty of love, attention, and playtime, while also making sure their environment stays clean, safe, and tidy. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Ally G.
“Ally is the best pet sitter ever. I was out of town for about 4 days and she was so attentive to my cat. She would send me videos which were always a welcomed surprise and check in regularly with me about Hobbes. It was nice getting the status updates and having the peace of mind that I didn’t have to worry about Hobbes while he was alone. I will always go back to Ally when I need a pet sitter.”

Lydia C.
