“Margaret is wonderful! Super communicative and kind. My pup loves her. I used Margaret’s services for a few weeks will I was recovering from an injury. She even came and went on her own when needed if I was on zoom calls”

“Rosie was just the best to my pup. She was super communicative and very helpful while we were out of town. She sent plenty of pictures and made sure my dog had a lot of outside play time. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I attended dog camp for several years where I trained cocker spaniels and helped train the family dog for years. I have also watched over neighbor’s cats and dogs before. I’m currently working two or three times a week so I have lots of time for walks! Morning or afternoon I’m more than happy to spend some time with your pup. We have a dog-proof home and a fenced yard for our pup. She is leash-trained and knows lots of commands such as “wait”, “go ahead”, and “roll over” :)

“Audrey was great right from the meet and greet and on! Millie, who is usually very timid, warmed up to her in seconds. Audrey was a great support walking my dog while a family member who can no longer walk her far watched her. She was extremely punctual and great with communicating all aspects of their walks. Highly recommend.”

About: I was born with a lab and a golden retriever, and have since lived with another golden, and two German shepherds, as well as two cats. I have helped train the shepherds from puppies and know how to handle large dogs in situations and walks. I now administer elder care and medication for my cat. I am not starting school until the end of August - from August 1-25th I am free for day of visits and multiple visits a day. I will change my schedule once the semester begins. I can easily crate dogs/cats, and take them for drives in my car to go on walks, to parks, or to get treats, or for any emergency necessary vet visits. I’m happy to bathe the animal if it gets dirty, or put on any necessary pet clothing (shoes, sweaters, etc). I am willing to wipe down paws and other parts before returning inside if the owner prefers.

“Antonio is an amazing dog walker. He brings treats for my dog, Kapu, and makes sure Kapu takes water breaks during his walks. I’m almost never home when Antonio comes but I assure you that you can trust him 100% with any task. He knows where my house keys are & he leaves everything back in its place and always brings my dog safely back home after every walk. I really trust this guy & He’s always the first person I turn to when I need someone to walk my dog. Also, my dog is pretty big and really needs to get his exercise in, most dog walkers can barely get a mile done in a hour but Antonio pretty much always walks 2 miles with my dog which is AMAZING since my dog can become pretty destructive when he’s home alone & full of energy but luckily he comes home to sleep after his walk! I am looking forward to continuing to work with Antonio! Thanks for everything!”

About: I've been raised with dogs and cats since day one. They are part of my DNA. I'm kind and caring and will treat your pet like my own. I am pet free for the very first time. Your pet will be my total priority. Call me, Jean. I have great references. I'm trained in first aid I am retired from Alaska Airlines. I make several week long trips a year. Otherwise I am close at hand to meet your needs at your home or mine. My bungalow is fenced in and has good dog walking areas surrounding the property. I normally take my pets to the beach 2 blocks from my home. Walking intervals are every 3 hours unless more is needed.

“Lisa is a very kind, gentle person who we hired to walk our dog, Rico, 5x (30 min ea walk) during our honeymoon. When we got the first couple of doggie report cards, Lisa had only walked rico 0.5ish miles. I was disappointed because I had hoped a 30 min walk would be closer to 1.5 miles. I spoke with Lisa about this and his next walks were 1 mile. It may be my own fault for not specifying that I wanted the emphasis of her 30min time blocks to be actually walking, vs playing with toys or brushing him, which are perfectly nice things to do but not for such a high energy dog like ours. Overall, our dog is alive and happy. Lisa fed our cat for free and helped coordinate visits/feedings with my family, who was also helping care for the pets. Some of the report cards showed that Lisa had spent 45 mins with Rico while only being payed for the 30, which I thought was very generous.”

“Great communication, totally reliable, and Lexi loves her”

“Kathy is phenomenal. She met the dogs ahead of time and did a great job with our high energy dogs! Detail oriented and super friendly!”

About: I have always been around dogs since I was born, whether it be pets of friends, neighbors, or my own. I have had countless experiences with cats as well through friends and family, and know how to entertain, walk, feed, and connect with furry friends of all sizes. I love to maintain an active lifestyle, and will always try to compete with your pet to see who has the most energy, but if they are more laid back, I can assure you that your pet will receive plenty of love! I love animals and being around them, and I know what it is like to leave a pet in someone else's care. Your pet's well-being is my top priority! I am currently taking a gap year between college and post-grad opportunities. I have availability on most days from early morning to around 5:00 pm. If needed, I am open to late nights as well, as long as I am asked in advance. I can't wait to meet your furry companion! I love pets! I like to make the most of my time and maintain an active lifestyle, and hope to engage in activities such as walking, playing, and simply just spending time with your pets. However, I also enjoy a more chill cuddle or lazy day. I am very patient and considerate and am good at adjusting to my environment. I currently do not have my own, but am familiar with being around and caring for animals in their own homes, and am very understanding of any rules an individual may have when it comes to their furry friend. My main priority is the well-being of your pet, and making sure they are as comfortable and have as much fun as possible!

“Lena was a pleasure to work with. She was reliable & took great care of our pup!”

About: I have had many different pets since I was a child, taking care of a lot them. I have watched up to 3 dogs at a time, with ease. Currently I have a dog, cat, and bunny, so I’m well versed in taking care of different animals. On the daily, I have to feed and give water to my cat and bunny. On a more weekly basis, I clean my cat’s litter box and also clean my bunny’s cage. I am attentive to my pet’s ensuring all their needs are taken care of. I love to spend time with them whenever possible, as well.

About: From little to senior, I have experience with all ages and am willing to do anything to make sure your fur baby is happy and well. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pet! I’m super consistent and very planned out! When caring for pets in my clients homes, I follow their usual routines to keep both client and pet comfortable and stress free! I can provide fresh food, water, walks, playtime, and lots of affection! I keep their space clean and stay in touch with owners for regular updates, making sure their pets and happy!

“Ella was great with our dog and walked him even in the rain.”

“Ashlee was very courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive. We were able to easily coordinate Luna's walks with her and we will definitely work with Ashlee again.”

About: I have been dog sitting for friends and family for 4 years now with up to 3 dogs at a time. I have also spent summers cat sitting long term for a family with 4 cats. I am a student athlete at Roger Williams University. My afternoons are scheduled to be free so I’m available most afternoons and now weekends during the off season. I like to best care for the fur babies by giving them the most at home experience. Whatever is routine for the animals and comfortable from the owners, is the best way I like to care for them. Lots of petting and playing is also given in excess when I care for fur babies.

About: From an early age, I discovered my love for canine companionship while raising a doodle a retriever—check out my photos! After a decade of training, long walks, potty breaks, and plenty of playtime, I settled into Newport and decided to rescue a pup of my own from the Potter League. A wild and vibrant Siberian Husky, my dog, Lady Day, is my ultimate sidekick—You can always find us outdoors enjoying life in some capacity! I rescued Lady following a back leg amputation, so as a tripod dog, she’s taught me patience and how to adapt to any pet’s special needs. Lady is a very high energy dog with some resource guarding habits, so I’m experienced at working with reactive dogs. Compassion above all! My schedule is flexible, so let’s connect! I look forward to working with both you and your dog soon. I’m currently working part-time on Saturdays-Tuesdays from 12:00pm-6:00pm. I’m available all mornings and other days for drop-in visits (6 hours max) and potty breaks but do not have the flexibility for overnight stays or drop-off care at my own home. I’m ready to support whatever both you and your dog need to be safe, healthy, and happy in the comfort of your home environment. Every family and pooch is different! It’s very important for me that all parties—dog included!— feel heard and understood in addressing what a successful home experience with a caretaker looks like.

“My sister Julia has been determined to get our family a dog ever since she was five years old. Our dad has an allergy to dogs but she persevered and found a doctor to help him battle the allergy with allergy drops and five years later we were able to get our dream dog! Julia spent hours doing research (at seven-years old) on the best doctor for my dad and for a breed that would be safest for our family. She cares deeply about animals and is very responsible as well. Any dog would be lucky to be loved and cared for by Julia.”
