“Josie and Jake were fantastic as always with the cats! They provide great and funny updates about how the cat’s day is going and always make sure to check on our shy guy even if he doesn’t come out to see them. They really treat them like their own and we love that. Will always book them if they are available for our trips.”

“Alyxx is great with my pets and handles the little curve balls that pop up with ease. Best of all, Alyxx always lets me know what is going on - I am totally confident leaving both the animals and the house in her hands.”

“Makensie was wonderful with my three cats and kept them all safe and happy while I was away. She had a lovely connection with my Toby, which was a great bonus for my shy little guy. She was great about letting me know how each visit went and I was able to enjoy the trip, knowing the "kids" were well looked after. A+ pet-sitter!”

“Summer was great with both my dog and cat. She was very conscientious and always kept me up to date with pictures and descriptions of how they were doing. Highly recommend!”

About: Since I was five years old when we adopted our family puppy, I have been involved in taking care of dogs. I have also over 350 hours of shelter volunteer experience in walking dogs, giving medications, and obedience training. Since I am hoping to be a vet one day, I am always wanting to meet new animals and give them the best care possible! I am currently a full-time student at Carleton and thus have classes and other extracurricular activities throughout the day. However, I have chunks of time throughout the day that could be devoted to pet care. If I am pet-sitting for you, your animal will be my priority! I do not have the capacity to care for your pet in my house, but I can provide whatever level of care you need in for your pet in your own home! If you need me to stay the night, I can do that. I am a detail-oriented person so whatever your pet needs I feel confident I can provide it.
About: I have cared for several cats and dogs in my home as well as in others for 15 years. I am a mother of three with lots of love, attention & cuddles to share with your fur-babies! I currently work from home 3 days each week and as a mom of 3, am home most weekends to help take care of your fur-babies:) I live in a very safe neighborhood for long walks and have a large backyard (unfenced) to play in! All 3 of my kiddos (16,14 & 6) are true animal lovers who will also happily love on your fur-babies while visiting our home!
“Andrea (Annie) was prompt every day, sent regular photos and communication! Our pets got top shelf care and were in excellent condition when we got back home!! Andrea will be our go to sitter from now on!!”

About: I have experience with both cats and dogs as I have both. I had a wonderful dog named Tessa. I miss her so much. She was a rescue and an amazing dog. Albany is a manx cat and was adopted at the age of 3. She is 6 now. She loved to play and can be ornery! I love fur babies and would love to help take care of your fur babies. I hope with providing this service I can give you piece of mind that your cat or dog is being taken care of. With adopting a rescue, I also had to work with some behavioral issues my dog had and feel that gave me a better understanding of her needs. In February 2024, I welcomed a miniature poodle in my home named Benny. I hope to speak with you soon! I do my best to keep my schedule updated. I do work two jobs, one being at home. I can best help in the evening and weekend. I ensure to spend quality time with your pet when providing a drop in service. I ensure to follow all instructions on feeding and water.
“Would 100% recommend Autumn for your dog sitting needs. She has been wonderful. We currently have her come a few days week to take our dog out while I am at work. Our dog Luna instantly loved her at the meet and greet. Autumn is always on time and tries her best to be available for our drop in visit needs. She is greatly appreciated.”

“Shelley was amazing with my dog who can sometimes be very skittish around new people. She has scared sitters in the past due to her barking but Shelley handled her like a champ. My dog took to Shelley right away and I appreciated knowing that she was in good hands during the day. Shelley sent many pictures and provided me with updates while she was at my house ensuring my dog got to potty, they played ball and she made sure she had food and water before she left each day. I would highly recommend Shelley and will definitely use her in the future.”
“Chloe is the best sitter ever! She gave us piece of mind while doing excellent work. She made her last visit right before we returned home so the boxes and bowls would be tidy. She gave extra attention to our cats. Booking her is the best option out there. Highly recommend”
“This is our first time using this service and we were thrilled with Bethany. She is very dependable and very personable. It is obvious she loves dogs and she loved ours! It gave us peace of mind while we were gone. Our dogs are our children and Bethany made us feel good that the dogs were in good hands and well taken care of. We will be using Bethany in the future!”

Proctorville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Josie is wonderful and has a way w/ my kitties.. She always sends pics of them and writes what was done and who she was able to pet each day. I'm not the least bit hesitant in asking her to watch them and it's great knowing she is developing a good relationship w them as well. I hate leaving them but know they're in excellent hands when I'm away. 😁
