We have a complicated cat ecosystem in our home, including a strong-willed cat who needs daily medication, a sensitive cat who needs focused attention, and a wily, wary young cat. Kirsten is reliable, flexible, and a great communicator. Each of our cats was well cared for while we were away, and the updates we received were clear and crafted with care.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs ever since I was little! I have my own dog, Sampson, who I trained from a little pup to now. I worked in a local pet store in Lincoln, NE for 2 years that specialized in cat/dog health! I’m currently a nursing student, but I am generally pretty open! I’m not available for in-home boarding or pet sitting, but happy to do check-ins and walks. I am experienced with all types of dogs- elderly, puppies, reactive, or just wild! I have basic training skills and can easily crate your pup, if necessary. Love is my philosophy!

Wr needed a dog/house sitter for a last minute trip. I didn't want just anyone, either. Ibqas so worried our dogs were just going to be let out 3-4 times a day, and not get any play time. That was not the case when I got on here and found Ashlee. She was simply amazing! She sent me pictures of our dogs multiple times a day, was always checking in with me. Our dogs usually have separation anxiety and they seemed to do just fine with her! She walked our dogs multiple times, spoiled the with treats, played with them outside for a while! We were very blessed to have found Ashlee. We liked her so much we booked her again when we went to a concert, and we have her potentially booked for our vacation in February! She is a fantastic dog/house sitter. Thanks again, Ashlee! ?

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs back home in Omaha that I absolutely adore. Being away from them during my last summer in Lincoln made me realize how much joy animals bring into my life, which is what inspired me to join Rover. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I understand how important trust and communication are when leaving your pets with someone, so I always aim to provide dependable care and regular updates with photos. I work full time during weekdays, so I’m best suited for pets comfortable with a daytime routine, but I make sure they receive plenty of love, exercise, potty breaks, and attention before and after work (I am also more than willing to leave during my lunch if need be!!) I truly treat every pet like family and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I work weekdays during the day, but I’m available for morning and evening walks, drop in visits, overnight care, and weekend availability. I always make time to give pets attention, exercise, affection, and consistent care so they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I carefully follow feeding schedules, potty routines, walking instructions, and any special care requests provided by owners. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet, so I make communication a priority and provide regular updates and photos. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for at all times

I had not met Nicole before she watched my cats. She did a great job caring for them and she was good about keeping me updated after each visit. I would definitely have her watch them again and recommend her to anyone needing their animals taken care of while away.

About: I own a dog and also have three dogs back at home. I have always loved animals so much that as a kid I would have my birthdays parties at the humane society 🙃 Back home we have a 15 year old dog and I have a 1 year old so I have experience with all ages :) I’m flexible so let me know if you need any help with your pets! I’m a graduate student in Physician Assistant school and i’m pretty much free daily to do anything from walks, playing with toys, or just giving your dog some attention! I have a fenced in yard and a 8 pound golden doodle that wouldn’t hurt a fly. I would be able to put him away if that makes the pet owners comfortable :)

About: As someone who works in the pet care industry and has three dogs of my own, caring for animals is a huge part of my life. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to senior dogs needing extra comfort and attention, and I always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work full time in the pet care industry, so caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life! With at least a week’s notice, I’m able to make my schedule flexible to best meet the needs of your pet and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I currently offer care within my client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I know how important consistency can be for animals, especially for shy pets, seniors, or pets who may become stressed in new environments. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, personality, and comfort needs to help them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind during visits.

About: As a dedicated animal lover with over 15 years of experience caring for pets, I provide trustworthy, compassionate, and fun pet care services. I was raised sharing my life with dogs and cats since I was born, and developed a deep understanding of their needs and personalities. I have trained my own dogs in basic commands and am very good at giving pets oral medicine when/if needed. As a volunteer at the Humane Society, I've had the opportunity to work with cats and dogs, helping with daily care, socialization, laundry/cleaning, and enrichment activities. This experience has not only deepened my love for animals but also my skills in animal handling and care. I am an online student and have a pretty flexible schedule, being almost always available for walks, housesitting or visits and in-home boarding, entertainment and cuddling. I care for pets in your home or mine, providing feeding, exercise, playtime, and lots of love. I can tailor my services to meet your pet's individual needs and ensure they feel comfortable and happy while you're away. I live in an appartment within 50 feet from a fenced dog park (it is the area right next to my building).

Marikita was the most gracious and caring sitter equating to a 5-STAR service ! She cared for my two cats while I was away, making me feel comfortable and at ease. She went above and beyond, even flexible switching a day while I was away. I received the most detailed updates that made me feel my cats were adopting her! They made great friends, and I returned to happy and healthy babies in a clean home. I strongly recommend Marikita as a sitter!

About: I care for your pets like they’re my own. Patience and safety and super important to me. I have experience with puppies, senior pets and administering medications, so I know how to adjust care for every age and personality. Whether it’s playtime, walks or cozy cuddles. I make sure your pet feels happy, secure and right at home. My goal is simple: fun, safe and stress-free care for your furry family! I currently work from home full time! Which is good news for you because that means I can periodically check up on your furry friend through out the day or if need be I can pack up and work from your house! Typically I end work around 4 p.m. Monday- Friday. I also am open to weekend activities! Working in whatever environment to make the pet feel at peace while their owners are away is super important to me. Mostly, staying with them and watching if anything abnormal is happening. About: I have had dogs all of my life and I have a 3 year old dog I adopted as a puppy and I have trained her to be well behaved at home and on walks, unless she sees a squirrel and gets excited. I have experience walking multiple difficult dogs at once and maintaining control. I’m currently working part time and am available for walking/visits between 10:30am and 4:30pm Monday-Thursday beginning on May 12th. I love taking my personal dog on walks around the city of Lincoln and would love to take yours too! I care for my pet by knowing her body language and keeping her separate from other dogs when I know she is stressed. I have always been around dogs and am able to read new animals very quickly to know what they need from me.

Amy did such a great job taking care of our pets. Our cats and dog have some separation anxiety issues, but they had no issues thanks to Amy’s attentive visits. She was prompt, and followed all of our small silly wishes. We look forward to using her services again.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I have allowed neighbors and friends to leave there dogs with us while they went on vacation. I have also been asked to do periodic checks on neighbors dogs while they are working extended hours etc... I know how to deal with semi aggressive dogs as well as happy little puppies. I drive for various rideshare and delivery companies throughout the entire day. This allows me to have an extremely flexible schedule that I can fit in appointments to check on your pets as needed throughout the day or most nights. My dogs are kennel trained and or bedroom trained. But I mostly intend to drop in and help your pet in your home as needed. If I notice there are any messes made while your pup was lonely, I will do my best to clean it up so you won't have to when you come home.
