“We were very worried about leaving our fur babies with someone new. They don’t usually stay with anyone but us or our kids if we are gone. But we were all going to a family event, so I was on the hunt! Lol. I searched lots of boarding facilities, but wasn’t very happy with what a lot of them had to offer, or the prices were outrageous. I came across Rover.com reading an article about leaving your pets in a more family friendly environment, so there’s less stress on our fur babies when you’re gone. I loved what people were saying in Lynana’s reviews so we scheduled a meet and greet, dogs included, which was great!!! Lynana, and her adorable kids who came out to say hi to our pups, very much put us at ease. We will be booking her again.”

“We had an exceptional experience with Heather as our pet sitter for Duke, our beloved micro Goldendoodle. From the moment we reached out, she made the entire process seamless, including a meet and greet that put our minds at ease. We especially appreciated the regular pictures and updates she sent while we were traveling; they truly brightened our day and reassured us that Duke was in great hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Heather and her lovely family, and we can't wait for Duke to spend time with them again!”

“Alivia did a wonderful job with our dog Willow. She let Willow outside to play with her family’s own dog, and other dogs she was boarding. She kept in touch with us by sending pictures, videos, etc. I will definitely use her services again.”

“My dog came to Shelly after a serious injury she nurtured him back to help give him all his medicines, including his painkiller. She kept me updated and sent me videos to ease my heart.”
“Such a great feeling to be able to travel and know my girl is loved and safe. Amanda and her family are excellent sitters, great communicators, and go the extra mile to reassure you your pet is being well cared for. Highly recommend.”

“Michelle is amazing, not only a great person and loves dogs, very down to earth, she is very responsive, gives great updates with pictures so you can see how your babies are doing. She has the sweetest little Yorkie for a playmate. She was willing to keep your exercise and feeding routine going to the best of her ability. We absolutely loved her and will be using her services again.”

“Joshua is amazing!!! Our grouchy chihuahua mix, Arlo, does not do well being boarded. Joshua agreed to give Arlo a chance. We got a lot of updates and pictures. Arlo did amazing for his first time there. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you, Joshua!!”
“Our pup was so well taken care of! We felt very comfortable knowing she was in good hands while we were out of town. Deb and family looked after our dog as if she was their own. Highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, and I’ve been caring for them since I was young. I’m trustworthy and focused on keeping your pet comfortable and safe. I am unemployed so I'm free all weekdays. I do go out on weekends though, but can still care for your pet when needed. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They are very playful and good with other animals. I also have a house with a fenced in yard.
About: Now accepting summer boarding, holiday bookings, 4th of July coverage and vacation stays! I bring 13 years of professional animal care experience, including roles in general practice, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and lab diagnostics. As a former vet tech, I’m skilled in medication administration, symptom monitoring, and anxiety management. For the past three and a half years, my husband and I have run a private, in home doggie daycare and overnight boarding service. We offer one on one play, a spacious quarter acre fenced yard, and a secure clean cozy indoor space tailored for comfort and enrichment. With no other pets or children in our house, and the luxury of us both having a schedule that allows us to be home full-time, your pup receives our full attention and supervision 24/7 and they’re cared for like family. Doggy daycare and boarding is our full-time focus, and we’re home 24/7 to provide attentive, personalized care. Each day begins at 8:00am with one on one enrichment play in our spacious, fenced backyard. We avoid group play for safety, only allowing interaction between bonded pets. This approach lets us welcome dogs who may not thrive in traditional daycare settings. After morning play, pups rest before and after meals to prevent bloat, then enjoy relaxed indoor time on our cozy futon or human sized dog bed. Outdoor breaks and play continue throughout the day until dinner at 5:00pm, followed by evening rest and a final potty break at 10:00pm. All dogs are monitored via live feed cameras, ensuring constant supervision. Our goal is to make every stay feel like a safe, joyful home away from home. If you require greater than 8 hours of doggy daycare, pricing will go up to reflect the number of hours needed and the level of care we provide as well as your dog or puppy's needs. Your pup will enjoy full access to our home’s main floor, outfitted with baby gates, plush dog beds including a human sized one for large breeds or bonded pairs and sun bathing areas by large windows perfect for lounging. During the day, dogs are never kenneled unless we need to leave the home for a short period of time and can freely explore both indoors and our spacious, fenced backyard filled with squirrels, rabbits and birds to chase. At night, all pups sleep safely in kennels, monitored by a live feed camera system that streams directly to our phones. We welcome dogs of all ages and sizes. Safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we’re happy to answer any questions during your meet and greet.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
