“Amber and her son took great care of my dog Nova! They took her on a walk, and she has a nice fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around in. Nova really appreciates the extra snuggles and pets she got this past weekend. I highly recommend Amber and her son for any of your dog-sitting needs! 😊”

“My experience with Jordan was nothing short of AMAZING! She was a God sent gift to our pup and our family! She treated our chocolate chunk like her own. She and her husband were so kind, gentle, and loving with Millie. We received multiple daily updates, her home was very clean, inviting, and safe! Truly the best experience we've ever had! She is a fairy dog mother!”

“Alivia did a wonderful job with our dog Willow. She let Willow outside to play with her family’s own dog, and other dogs she was boarding. She kept in touch with us by sending pictures, videos, etc. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Kelsey was so patient and caring with my dog Shadow! She made sure he was well taken care of and loved since he was so nervous being away from home. She also made sure to send plenty of updates to ease my fears as well!”

“Our 2 senior pups had a great time with Shelley! She was very communicative, worked with our schedule, and sent us pictures throughout the stay to let us know they were adapting well. They usually come home completely exhausted from anxiety after being boarded. But this wasn’t the case after staying with Shelley! We brought home two very happy and well cared for pups ☺️”

“Lynana was absolutely wonderful with Queenie and Harry. She kept me updated consistently with photos and check ins throughout their stay, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I could tell she was really paying attention to their personalities and comfort levels, even updating me on how they were adjusting to the other dogs in her care. She was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and clearly cares deeply about the animals she watches. My dogs looked happy, safe, and well cared for the entire time. It’s obvious she treats the pets like her own and creates a loving environment for them. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and kind to care for their pets.”

“Raechel was amazing with my dogs. We got daily pics and sometimes twice a day! One of my dogs was on medication and she made sure he got them on time. I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

“Heather was great to work with. She took great care of our Great Dane in her home. Heather sent lots of pictures and we were happy to know our girl was being well taken care of.”

“Anjelica did great with my shy and nervous Sheba. By pick Sheba was seeking attention and pets from her and her husband, which to me means she felt totally comfortable in the facility. The kennels were comfy enough for Sheba to want to go in there and sleep every night. Plus the indoor play area was great. Definitely will rebook when we have to travel again.”

“This is the 3rd time Marshall has stayed with Debbie. She always does a great job and sends lots of pics throughout the booking. I’m pretty sure she spoils my dog more than I do so he always gets a little vacation too! Couldn’t recommend her enough.”

About: I spent a year working at a pet boarding facility called “The Farm At Natchez Trace” in Fairview Tn. I moved out to Evansville for college and I started working at the Vanderburgh Humane Society. I am currently unemployed so I can focus more on college which leaves my schedule open! I also have experience with dog training! I’m currently unemployed and in online college so my schedule is very flexible! I am looking to pet sit/ dog walk/ take care of cats as much as possible! Currently I’m only able to pet sit in a clients home but I am willing to learn how to take care of pets exactly how their owners want and I’m very respectful of other people’s belongings!
“I’ve never trusted a dog sitter more! Josh communicates well and has a big heart for dogs. He has been available on short notice on more than one occasion and I am so thankful for that!”

“Michelle is amazing, not only a great person and loves dogs, very down to earth, she is very responsive, gives great updates with pictures so you can see how your babies are doing. She has the sweetest little Yorkie for a playmate. She was willing to keep your exercise and feeding routine going to the best of her ability. We absolutely loved her and will be using her services again.”

“Such a great feeling to be able to travel and know my girl is loved and safe. Amanda and her family are excellent sitters, great communicators, and go the extra mile to reassure you your pet is being well cared for. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been professionally pet sitting for 5 years, but grew up around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched dogs of all breeds and ages and love being around animals :) I have one cat of my own named Hank 🫶🏻 I work in a law office Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 p.m. I am single and don’t have any kids so I’m able to put all my focus on your animals :) I do not care for pets in my own home due to living in an apartment and I feel that it’s better for the animals to keep them in their own home.

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, and I’ve been caring for them since I was young. I’m trustworthy and focused on keeping your pet comfortable and safe. I am unemployed so I'm free all weekdays. I do go out on weekends though, but can still care for your pet when needed. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They are very playful and good with other animals. I also have a house with a fenced in yard.

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
