About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up with my first dog, a Pit Bull and Chocolate Lab mix, who was with me from birth until I was 16. I helped care for her throughout her life and developed a really special bond with her. I also have a new dog who is mostly Pit Bull, and I take care of him regularly. I’ve also cared for friends dogs and currently walk a Golden Retriever multiple times a week throughout the summer. I’m comfortable with different personalities and love building a genuine connection with every dog I meet. I’m currently a student but have a pretty flexible schedule where I have much free time during the week and full availability on the weekends. I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they’re in my care. I follow each owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as much as possible. I’m very attentive and make sure pets get the care, attention and love they need. I also treat every client’s home with the same respect I would want for my own.

About: I have been taking care of my own pets and animals my whole life, but recently expanded into watching and doing over night care, dog walking, and pet care for neighbors, family and friends. I’m currently going to Rhode Island College and pursuing my bachelors in Secondary Education. I also work part-time at a local hotel 3-11pm. This means I’m prettt flexible with when I can drop in to do pet-sitting and many of my classes have hour gaps in between so I can fit in pet visits! For my dogs at home, I ensure routine feedings are being followed to their timed feeding, I also focus on walking my own dogs 2-4 times a day, depending on which dog! For cats I also focus on ensuring that cats are following their feeding schedule, also ensuring that they are being played with, and enrichment is being provided.

Heather is a fantastic dog sitter. I had to leave my 12 year old dog who is living with cancer and recently tore her ACL for 5 days while I attended a work meeting for a new job. I was very anxious and concerned that I wouldn't be able to find the kind of help that I find necessary. I shouldn't have worried. Heather was so communicative and detail oriented, it put my mind at ease. My dog also took to her immediatelly. Heather left me detailed daily notes w pictures. She also left my home spotless. I highly recommend her. She is very conscientious and treated my dog like her own.
Having Heather at our house allowed us to relax on our vacation. She gave us daily updates with photos and videos that the family enjoyed getting. We have three cats with varying needs and not fully integrated yet. Our eldest cat has some health issues and involves getting fluids. Heather understood our concerns and could keep her on her daily schedules. We also have an energetic kitten who needs serious play time. The last cat normally snubs us when we come home after going away but she didn't this time. When we came home the house was tidy with freshly scooped liter boxes and swept up litter. Heather took the time to get to know each of their different personalities and we will definitely would use her again in the future.
