About: Hi there! I adopted my lab mix, Buddy, in 2019. I say we both rescued each other. I grew up on a horse farm and have always been a big animal lover — no matter the kind! Buddy is super friendly with both humans & dogs. I now live in a fenced in home and frequently go on walks & visit local dog parks. From growing up with a Dalmatian and a Chihuahua to now having my 10 year old Lola (she lives with my parents), dogs and animals have always been part of my life. I also volunteered at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Texas, where I cared for a variety of animals—from rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets to snakes, tortoises, parrots, and even raccoons. Over the years, I’ve pet-sat for countless dogs, cats, and reptiles (I even cared for a friend’s chameleon for two months!). I have extensive experience with senior pets and those with medical needs. I cared for my own senior dog, who lived a happy, full life to the age of 16 and passed away in May 2025. I’ve also cared for many other senior dogs, including pets needing special attention, medication, or extra patience. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
