I stayed at a place where there were no dogs allowed on the property so I tried a sitter at South Padre Island. That sitter called me late and told me she couldn't handle Presley. Luckily I was able to find such an experienced, dog loving sitter in Alicia. I spoke to her and let her know my situation and she offered to meet me more than halfway so I wouldn't miss too much time away from my weekend getaway with my family. She sent me pictures the next day of Presley playing fetch and I felt comfortable knowing my pup was enjoying his weekend as much as I was. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: HOUSE SITTING: I would just like to clarify the services that I am to provide to you (according to ROVER guidelines) when I’m HOUSE SITTING. A lot of people get a bit confused regarding the actual service we are to provide because rover does not do a very good job defining each service. House sitting is essentially OVER NIGHT sitting, a sitter comes and stays over night to watch over your pup/pups/pet and leaves in the morning. I usually take an over night sitting as an 8hr shift, so if I come at 10PM, I leave at 6-7AM. Unfortunately, house sitting is not a service where the sitter stays at your home over night and comes to check on your pet several times a day, those would be “drop-in visits” and you would need to book those :). I understand it could get expensive, so In cases where the client lives really close to me, I am willing to work with you, just contact me :). I usually take care of pets the same way I do with my family dog. With kindness patience and attentiveness. Snacks as well, unless instructed other wise.

About: My dogs are my best friends and my whole world! When I’m your pet sitter, your pet will be mine too! My love for dogs stems from the time I spent caring for my childhood poodles growing up. “Alicia did an amazing job taking care of Presley. My pup is big, hyper and a bit of a handful but Alicia made it work. I stayed at a place where there were no dogs allowed on the property so I tried a sitter at South Padre Island. That sitter called me late and told me she couldn't handle Presley. Luckily I was able to find such an experienced, dog loving sitter in Alicia. I spoke to her and let her know my situation and she offered to meet me more than halfway so I wouldn't miss too much time away from my weekend getaway with my family. She sent me pictures the next day of Presley playing fetch and I felt comfortable knowing my pup was enjoying his weekend as much as I was.
