“Tulasi took good care of my dogs. I was not worried about my dogs while we were out of town for the most part. The only reason is because one of my dogs have Addison’s disease so he was a bit overstressed but that was because of the long stay, nothing to do with the sitter. My dogs returned home without any problems and seemed happy when they were picked up.”
“This is the first time using Rover, or anyone we don’t personally know. Holly was amazing in all aspects! Welcoming, helpful, accommodating, caring, detail oriented, and understanding. The many pictures and updates she sent were reassuring of the obvious quality of care she and her family were providing.”

“Ashley made sure our dog felt comfortable right away. Throughout the stay, she sent us lots of wonderful photos, and it was clear our dog was truly happy. She cares for dogs with so much love and attention. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“Andrea took great care of our dog Rosie and was kind and flexible. She updated us regularly with photos and we felt confident that Rosie was safe and happy with her family!”

“I’m so glad we were able to find Amanda. She welcomed my Rottweiler as one of her own when we needed a last minute dog sitter. She communicated greatly the 4 days she had her by texting and sending me videos to ensure me that my big baby was enjoying herself. I definitely recommend her and will be using her for future vacations!!”

“Crystal was so nice and flexible she mad my few days away very easy. Her house is great for a dog-vacation, my 3 dogs looked very happy when I picked them up. I am so glad I found Crystal and will definitely rebook. Thank you for making it so easy Crystal.”

I have stayed at another clients home to take care of her dog and did drop in visits throughout the day for other people. I live in an apartment and don’t have a yard but there is a big dog park. I have 2 crates for my dogs or for another dog while under my care if they need to be.
“Taylor is amazing! She took such a good care of Canelo while I was at work, her dog Rêve played with him all day. It was wonderful to come home and have him tired out and happy.”

“Jenna & Shane were absolutely wonderful with our 2 large dogs! Our dogs came home healthy & sleepy from playing the weekend away in their yard. We will absolutely have them take care of our babies in the future. Thank you guys again!!”

“Paisley was absolutely wonderful! She took the best care of Rocky while I was out of town. Great communication from the booking request to picking up Rocky. She was super flexible and easy to work with. I received daily updates and photos. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“Victoria has such a beautiful home. She also is a very warm and kind person. Our dog instantly took to her. We scheduled a sleepover so our dog can get to know her and her dog better before our big trip in a few weeks. It was a great experience. We picked up our dog and she was just so happy. When we left our dog at a kennel before this she did not look well when we picked her up. This was a total different experience, she had a lot of fun and was well taken care of. Victoria was great at sending me updates and a video. I think my dog misses her and her dog lol!!! I'm definitely going to feel better when I leave her for a week knowing she's in good hands. Thank you Victoria”

“Darcy is the BEST!!! She took fantastic care of my boys. Gave me daily updates and sent me the cutest pictures! I am so grateful she loved them like her own for the week 🥰 She even sent their bowls back sparkling clean ✨ 10/10 recommend!! I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Bruce came home very tired and very loved. We received pictures and messages from Jared which was very appreciated since this was our first time using Rover. Bruce will definitely be back!”

“We are so happy that we had Amy watch Sadie! She sent constant updates and we were never worried about her for one second. It was clear through the pictures and videos that Sadie was very comfortable and felt right at home. She was happy (and tired!) when we picked her up, which says it all. Amy truly cared for her like she was her own. Sadie can be a little quirky and needy, but Amy handled it all so well. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again for sitting and walks!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Prestonville
When I found myself needing a sitter on really short notice, Tulasi came to my attention because of the many awesome reviews she has received. Now I find myself writing the same type of review. She answered all my questions and addressed every concern. She kept me informed and sent pictures as well. Very professional and very friendly at the same time. My pup is special to me and she deserves the kind of care Tulasi provides!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Prestonville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Prestonville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Prestonville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
