“I adopted my dog Bucky from animal rescue almost 9 months ago. Neglect and abuse was all he had known and he was done with humans. Several people before I came along thought about adopting him then changed their minds due to his anti-social behavior but I knew Bucky was a diamond in the rough. After months of working with him, Bucky is now tightly bonded to me which made me worry when I had to leave him for a few days for a work trip. I didn’t want Bucky to have the feeling he was abandoned again so I didn’t want to leave him in a commercial kennel. I began to search online and found Elizabeth and Nick on Rover. This was the best decision I’ve made when it comes to care for my dog! Elizabeth and Nick invited us over beforehand so they could meet Bucky in person then, when the day finally came and I had to leave him, they brought Bucky into their home and made him part of their family. During my Trip, Elizabeth sent me several photos showing Bucky as, not only comfortable, but fully immersed in their family. He also made a new friend with a dog they day sit. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving Bucky this early in his rehabilitation but Elizabeth and Nick were the perfect choice. I will always chose them when I need to leave Bucky from now on.”
